Great experience, minus one detail
Everything about the course was great. Loved the layout and the sand traps were in wonderful condition, which is a breath of fresh air when it comes to munis around here. Only hiccup in the day was an interaction with the cart wrangler in which he forced my friend and the random that we were playing with to ride together after playing 9 holes with 3 carts in a foursome. my group had three people, so we had two carts. The random claimed he got his teetime an hour before we tee’d off, and got his own cart because why would you want to ride with a total stranger? The worker’s argument for consolidating us was that he wanted to put one less cart away at the end of the day, which I think could have been delivered better because it seemed lazy seeing as we weren’t even the last group to go on the back nine for the day.

Course was in good shape for early April. Pace of play was good. Staff was very accommodating
Good early season condition
Pioneer Course here at Kenton County is their easier layout, with Willows being tougher. The course is in good early season condition, and becoming spring green quickly. The pace of play on this Sunday afternoon was much slower than normal here, with our 9 holes taking approximately 2.5 hours. We had an enjoyable time here nonetheless.
Time for a refresh
Might be time to consider someone under 70 to help run things here. It is almost impossible to get a tee time here, which seems mostly due to leagues that suck this place dry. We had an afternoon tee time and could tee off because of league twosomes continually jumping us. “Starter” (guy in a chair by the carts) offered no help whatsoever. I want to like playing here but it doesn’t seem to be run half as well as Boone County.

Maintaining and staffs
Well maintained golf courses and all staffs are super friendly and nice all the time. Love to play at kenton and enjoy time with friends!

Overall course was good. Some fairways were pretty burned up.
Why does this course exist?
Tee times are nonexistent. Tee times are spaced 6 minutes apart. Greens and tee boxes are never cared for. Expensive as could possibly be for the lowest quality muni in the area.
