Bulle Rock Golf Club

I enjoyed everything about this course. From the extensive practice and chipping area, the fun layout, and the value rates at twilight, it was a great time. I do wish the turn house closed later than it did (it appears to have closed at 4pm yesterday, a weekday), but other than that I would definitely rank this as a must play in MD.

Played with a friend and his brother from South Carolina. Course was in excellent condition, as always. I live in the Bulle Rock community but only play the course several times a year. My golf game does not deserve such a lovely course. It is also a bit expensive, but the deal through TeeOff made it worthwhile.

Loved the course. Some really good holes. Well conditioned. Rough was challenging. Greens rolled well.

Worth the cost and 75 min drive. Greens were rolling nicely and everything was smooth to play most shots short to bounce up perfectly.

The course and staff were incredible. The course is in great conditions and the amenities are great. Can’t wait to go back and play this incredible course

Great round inspite of my golf game. I live in the Bulle Rock development, but only play the golf course a couple of times a year, because my golf game doesn’t deserve such a great course. The course is in excellent shape! If I get another good deal through TeeOff, I’ll play here again.

Tuff if you get in the rough. Course is in gray shape. Would have liked to see the beverage cart more than one time per side

It was a cart path only day and with super hot weather and high humidity it was a beast to walk. The greens were in good shape and not soft. Most fairways were squishy and little roll.We played through some rain storms and we had a great day overall. The staff was so pleasant and nice. I took a friend and he was wowed.

Great course, although I would not recommend for beginners. Sublime tee boxes, fairways and greens; VERY challenging rough and bunkers. Free practice facilities were superb.

Food, servers, and cart girl were delicious.

Only real gripe was that the carts didn’t have rain covers on them (we did experience a bit of rain).

Incredibly Maintained, especially considering lack of recent rain. Tough course for anyone but a scratch/low handicap. Still a great experience overall, due to free practice facilities and condition of course compared to others in the competing Mid-Atlantic area

I used to play Bulle Rock with good regularity in the 2000s. I was back in the area for the first time since playing it last in 2017. This is not the same place that hosted the LPGA Championship over the years. There were lots of little things that you'd never expect to see before: burned out fairways, spotty greens, overgrown railroad ties, inconsistent bunker sand, long left unfilled divots on the tee boxes and fairways, etc. At least the fescue was more manageable and no longer an automatic lost ball.

We played on a warm (but by no means hot) day. There was not a single drop of water available on the course. They removed all of the water coolers during COVID (per ranger), but have not replaced any of them. The ranger did not have waters or a cooler on his cart and said that we needed to get waters from the beverage cart. Our first sighting of the beverage cart was on the 15th hole. When we raised this issue with the pro shop staff, they were incredulous to our concern.

Very diifficult course for mid to high handicapper, dare say low or scratch golfers would struggle on greens

Course really needs water. Lot of fairways were burned out. Always was a great layout.

Always a terrific challenge, and one of my favorites. Course was hard and fast. Greens were quick and smooth.
