Sad This Charles Banks Course Closed
Played the year before it closed. Course was originally to be 18 holes and call f Annapolis Roads. The greens were huge built-up masterpieces and fronted by deep grass bunkers that used to be sand filled.

historic gem
Great piece of local Annapolis history, links style Scottish design with elevated greens and 15 foot grass bunkers. The rough is long and a mix of grasses makes getting in trouble easy.
To really enjoy it you have to know what to expect. Its a value course $14 to walk 9 holes. Two of the greens are really really bad and the rest are about a 3 on a 0-10 scale. Its playable though and really fun. Right now its in the best shape Ive seen it in the past decade. The fairways are crab grass but fun to hit off and actually in pretty good shape.
