Historic City Owned Course
You get what you pay for here. The course has long grass, slow greens, and a lot of slow players. It’s a fun roadside, stretch your legs stop if you’re traveling, but if I lived in the area I would not make this my regular course. I enjoyed my time here but now that I’ve played it, I don’t think I would make a point to return.
I paid for 18 holes but this was only a 9 hole course. I would like to be reimbursed money for only being able to play 9 holes.
Poor covid safety procedures
Didn’t clean our cart before telling us it was ready and loading the bags then came over AFTER we were in the cart to lightly spray it down. In these times it’s important to clean the carts before you tell guests to get in them. Would play this course again but will walk next time - the cart paths are atrocious.
Awful course full of weeds and crabgrass
I haven’t played here in many years. It used to be in good condition. I played Sunday and it was awful. Fairways and rough are weeds and crabgrass, they just cut the fairways lower than the rough. Such agonizing slow play, 3 hours to play a short 9 hole track.
Only positive are the people that work there.
Overpaid and slow pace
It cost more to play when booking through golf now then at the course. Insanely slow play, very few carts. Course is in very rough shape
Great for a quick round
This is a good course for the value and to get in a quick 9 holes. Fairways and greens are in pretty good condition for mid-July, and the staff is very friendly. It's an easy course but a good opportunity to work on your game.
this course is poorly laid out
I had trouble finding hole 7 and in my opinion it was difficult to keep track of where the next hole would be due to a lack of signs and an ending cart path. Other than layout issues, the course was nice
Accessible and fast
The course is right next to an exit from i95 in South Baltimore and was very easy to drive to. I was able to play an entire 9 holes in about 1:15. The fairways are open with some bunkers but few places to lose balls. If you want to get 9 holes in before work I can't imagine a better choice.
Balt City 9 holer
Years ago there were real problems here concerning safety of players, seems to have been cleaned up for now. Course is in decent shape considering amount and type of play it receives. Overall can bring learners/lesser players here and mostly keep it in play.
