Mount Pleasant is a great old track. It isn't always in the best shape because it gets a lot of play, but it's always fair. The greens are usually in much shape than the rest of the course.

Course in good shape. The rough has grown up and this has changed the strategy for playing the course. Greens were slow, but in good condition. A good course to play

This course is a little rough around the edges but has a great layout that's a good challenge. Greens were very well maintained.

This course has 2 different 9’s, the front was kind of short and placement was important, the back was much more hilly and you really needed to drive the ball long. It was an enjoyable day, the snack shack was also open after 9 holes

greens rolled true, fairways and tee boxes in good shape. parking lot was packed when we arrived at 10:30am but was very surprised the pace of play was excellent

Mount Pleasant Park is one of the great courses of the world. Many reviews you see here are from those who don't know the history of this course [although there are some righteous and well-informed reviews from objective golfers]. The course info provided is grossly in error.

"Terrible" Tommy Bolt set the course record of 64 in 1957, when course par was 72.. No one has challenged that record in the last 61 years, even when par was lowered to 71.

You will hear from pseudo-"experts" that modern bombers will tear this short course up. If you can discern the difference between spoken opinions and actual scores recorded under the strict rules of golf, even under municipal-course setups, then you will appreciate the splendid genius of this classic golf course.

What this course lacks in distance, it’s completely protected by the layout. Not a course to grip it and rip it. I loved the design and the challenges the changes of elevations and slopes the entire course presents. I’ll definitely give this course another shot to redeem myself.
