Fairway Hills Golf Club

I play here about 10 times per year. Fun layout and the conditions are usually pretty good. The price is great in comparison to other close by courses. Most of the employees are very nice, while one seems moody sometimes. The only bad thing is that on the back nine, there are 2 really long walks. After hole 12 there is about an eighth of a mile walk, and after 15 there is an even longer walk. If you are behind walkers, it can cause a little extra delay.

Played as a single, under 4 hours playing on a immaculate course.

From t boxes to greens the course was in great condition! The play is very slow! From my perspective it is due to players lack of skills and not aware of golf etiquette. Took 5 hours and 20 minutes to play that short course. Maybe a weekday would be faster play?

Course condition is great except for bees are so many in sands. They need to spray some insecticides or something.

This course is in a good location Columbia/EC. But course I’d poorly maintained apparently.

Course is in pretty good shape for not having rained since April.

Most if not all of the fairways have not grown in yet -- the rough looks better than the fairways. Tee boxes and greens are OK. Montgomery County public courses are in much better condition. Starter was very friendly. Carts have GPS and ball/club washers. Would not go back if no improvement in the fairways.

The putting green was lightning fast and the rest of the greens were fairly slow.

Way too many quirky holes to really be enjoying. Course wasn’t sure if it was an executive course or a full length course. The par 3’s were nice. Par 5’a were a joke. First 2 should be played 5 iron, Wedge, Wedge. Re-layout and those holes and make them par 4s. Still way too many quirks. I won’t play here again

Staff are fantastic and friendly and kept to play moving on a very busy day.
