Nice place but so slow
Front nine wasn't too bad, just over two hours. But we made the turn and the course stopped.
We drove ahead and saw a a big gap in front of one group and then the next group was TWO holes behind.
So,
We played 10, jumped to 12 at the 150 yard mark to avoid the first slow group. Then we waited to drive on 13 and picked up our drive. from the fairway. We skipped to 14 to see the course wide open. The group was so slow they were waiting to hit to the par four 14th til we left the green. They couldn't reach the green in their best days.
Played the rest of the course without running into anyone in front of us.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Great staff!
Showed up a day early for my tee time and staff was totally awesome about it. They were busy but the starter said he'd get me out, checked back several times with updates and got me out 20 minutes after my (next day) tee time. Stark contrast with my experience a week earlier at a Connecticut course (see review for River Ridge in Baltic CT). Tee boxes and greens in excellent condition but fairways and rough less so thus 4 instead of five stars. That said, for the price you can't complain. When I landed in a bare spot on the fairway I just moved my ball to a piece of grass.

GREAT DAY OF GOLF WITH THE ADULT BOYS
Course was in great condition today. 9.12 T time no one in front of us and no one behind us for 9 holes. Great value for this course. I drive in from Boston but nice all around day out to enjoy with the boys.

First visit
Tee's are in excellent condition and the greens aren't too far behind.
Staff is the friendliest I have ever encountered.
Great value.

Surprisingly nice
Nice decent course. Pace of play is very decent. Fairway are in ok condition. Can’t complain with the price for this course. I enjoy it.

Good greens
Greens are smooth and fast, hard to hold ,but getting better....good challenge from blue tees

Improved
Tee boxes nice, fairways still spotty, greens in pretty good shape. Some upgrades have been done. got a hot tee time for$16, but had to pay$19 for the cart ?? weather was great.

Get what you pay for: bad conditions and pacing
Even for a cheap course, this was pretty rough.
Even with a marshal putting everyone in 4 somes, they don't separate tee times enough, it's backed up. 18 holes took 4 hours, 37 minutes, waiting on every hole.
It was early in the season in April, so I don't want to be too harsh on conditions, but there isn't a good lie on the whole course (including fairways). Entire course is dry and hard as concrete, greens have dirt spots, grass is uneven and clumpy.

Practice round
A very quiet morning, couple of twosomes but after 9, I was on my own. Never had such a peaceful round to myself to move the ball around. Great tee boxes and greens, fairways are well enough for 26 bucks. You learn a lot when all is quiet and no distractions. Thanks again. See you in the morning.
