Cranberry Valley Golf Course

CV is a wonderful course. Very friendly staff with a course that’s in great shape so far this year, despite playing with a heat index of 95 degrees.

One of our favorite courses, and I realize it was windy that day, but a leaf blower would have improved the condition of the first green which was absolutely covered in pine needles. Most off the rest of the greens were clean or mostly clean. The second issue was the 16th fairway which looked like they used it as a dumping ground for leaves from the rest of the course, piles and piles of leaves. There was almost no wind on fairway. It could have been cleared of most of the mess. Three balls lost due to depth and number of leaves. Finally, we finished our round at 3:45 and clubhouse was already closed. No place to use the facilities!

Course layout challenging but not terribly difficult. Greens in great shape. Staff friendly. A very good course for 18 holes on Cape Cod !

Cranberry Valley has a great traditional layout that gives you a nice start then gradually increases is difficulty. The back 9 is much more difficult than the front as the 10th hole starts you out with an intimidating tee-shot with water on the right and the fairway sloping towards it. The course conditions are some of the best I have ever played in 30+ years of playing golf. The greens are in excellent shape and well protected by strategically placed bunkers that demands carry and accuracy with your approach shot. I would recommend Cranberry Valley to any golfer with above average playing skills.
