Waverly Woods Golf Course

Great round at a challenging course that is well maintained. Pace was good and afterwards we ate at the clubhouse. The food was better than i anticipated.

Waverly woods and and their other course "Blue Mash" are both great, but Waverly is the much better of the two. The course was in better shape Sunday, the staff is friendlier and more professional, and we always play faster. At Blue Mash, things tend to get slow. Our round this past weekend was fun, and we'll come back before the end of the year.

Been playing here every weekend since pandemic started and it has always been a great round. The staff here is great. We normally go out every Saturday morning before 8am as I found it to be the fastest rounds available. Once you start playing later tee times there, it fills up and slows the pace some. The course has a great layout and several holes you can really attack. Of course, there is no attack on number 12! The greens are smooth and fast (unless you play during aeration) and run true. Highly recommend playing there.

Played Monday. The round was fun. The thing I'm writing this review for is to compliment who well-trained and friendly your staff are. From the time we checked in to the time we left, every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful.

Dime size holes in the greens and they were not filled with sand.

To make thinks worse, we were told to play front 9 twice.

I last played here about 10+ yrs ago and was looking forward to going back and play again. Well, when I reserved the tee time I completely overlooked the ‘Aerification Alert’ .. when I showed up I was told the back 9 holes are closed and will need to front 9 holes, twice .. wasn’t too happy with it, but oh well, it was my fault not paying attention to the Alert .. anyhow, the course layout is what I expected, challenging and unique. Everything was good, it was the putting greens that were aerified and sprayed with sand which was not very playable to putt .. to make the long story short, I’m looking forward to going back later this year and play the entire course without the aerification interruption ..Rules of thumb, please pay attention to the golf course ‘Alerts’ & ‘Cart Rules’ before reserving the tee time.

we played this morning at waverly. the course (greens in particular) are in excellent condition. staff and manager was friendly and helpful with getting a group in front of us to skip a hole when they were slow. we enjoyed the bar after the round.

We had a very memorable experience today. The course itself rivals high-end private clubs (though I do wish people would fill their divots... not your fault!) It was firm and the greens rolled true. IT was a tough test of golf from the tees we played from... we may have bit off more than we could chew. Additionally, the hospitality we received from Joe and Cory at the check-in, Jack on the first tee, as well as Hannah at your restaurant was great. It was our first time playing while in the area, and we will definitely come back.

Good round, 5 stars. The course is running extremely firm (but the greens are not fast incidentally, just hard to hold with approaches). Weather was great, and I couldn’t believe we played in under 4 hours having teed off a little after 10 am on a sunday. That is unheard of nowadays. Probably my best experience at a public course in a while, and I had a nice conversation with your pro who worked at a club I used to belong to.

this golf course really needs to reconsider its pace policies. I understand that pace of play is a problem at golf courses, but when you're asking a group with seniors to either pick up the pace or let people play through on a 100 degree day, it's totally overboard. there was never a group in front of us from the time we went out, and the group behind was never really ready to play through, yet we received messages that we were behind, and then were approached by two clubhouse employees on the course (who were both perfectly polite and made friendly conversation, but that is totally besides the point). when we left, the parking lot was practically empty. do the people who run this place actually play golf, or are they just running a golf factory with the goal of pumping people through?
