Fairway Hills Golf Club

First time playing FW. Tight course, good condition. DO NOT go into the rough!!! It’s Bermuda grass, VERY thick, and desperately needed to be cut, Ball gets lost in it, and it’s really tough to advance down the course. Greens are pretty quick, overall course is in great condition and fun to play.

Course was in nice shape, despite the amount of play it gets. Deep bent grass roughs made it a tough find even just a few feet off the fairway, though, so watch your ball closely. We rode which was a blessing and a curse. Not a great layout to walk- some holes have very long walks from greens to next tees. Carts are nice (electric, vid screens with hole layouts and distances) but way over controlled. Do not even THINK about taking one off the path more than about 5-10 feet on a "paths only" hole. Cart shuts down nearly completely and only moves like a snail until you get back to the path. Each time this happened it was a 2-3 minute ordeal. Once, the cart woudn't unlock even after bath on the path. Course worker had to bring out another cart. Other groups (around us) were having same issues. Fixing this would significantly improve pace of play on these days...

The fairways and greens were in good condition, but the rough was way too thick. I would just miss the fairway and lose balls unless I stepped on it. The rough needed cut down about half of what it was.

Overall; the design and length was great, but it was just okay.

Staff was very friendly… acknowledged my Veterans status and thanked me for my service. Got flexible T- start, one of my party was late.

This course is quickly becoming one of my favorites. The staff is friendly, price is responsible, and the course is in great shape. The layout is short, challenging but fair. Greens roll true and water and restrooms on the course make the course that much more enjoyable.

Course is in good shape. Weekday rates are fair. Staff is helpful. Carts are good. Overall, a nice course that’s challenging for being shorter than other courses.

Don’t let the par 70 rating fool you, the course layout is challenging. The course was in good condition.

Wasn’t able to play the whole course. We had to play the back 9!twice. Other than that. Bang for your buck

Course was in great shape, cart barely made it through 18 in the afternoon. Pace of play was decent for a Saturday afternoon on a beautiful day.

I played the day after heavy rains so the course was sloppy and the greens inconsistent. It did not help that they closed the front nine and we had to play the more treacherous back nine twice I would like to return under better course conditions to play both nines. Finally, we got stuck behind a pathetically slow twosome. The absence of a player assistant/ranger out on the course all contributed to a 4 1/2 round as a twosome, completely unacceptable.

I went to the course and it was closed and it said to contact golf now for a refund. I would like a refund.
