Northampton Country Club

Not only is the course beautiful but the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The course is a bit of a drive from my home but it is always well worth it. The course is very well maintained. Would recommend to all golfers.

Course is in great shape!! Would recommend to anyone in the area to come by for a quick nine or even just a bite to eat! Great menu for Friday night dinner specials.

This is an awesome nine hole course that I would recommend to anyone. Everyone here is very friendly including the staff and other golfers. I have played here many times and eaten in the clubhouse after many times. The course is always a lot of fun and always kept in great shape. The food is always delicious and at a very reasonable price. Also I have attended events here at the banquet hall which were always a great time. The banquet hall and the view of the course are both very nice, Chrissy and the staff always go above and beyond. I have never had a bad experience here and I would recommend this course to anyone. The prices are very good for a course that is always in great shape and for great food that never disappoints. The golf pro Jim is a great guy hes very friendly and always at the course interacting with everyone and trying to improve the course anyway he can. You can tell he really loves what he does. This is a very family friendly course.

Wow! I would recommend this course to anyone. The new owner has really made this course come a long way. Jim the pro is very attentive and knowledgeable and is always looking for new ways to make improvements. The course is always kept up in great shape and the clubhouse Is always kept up and the food is always delicious. Chrissy is always working hard in the kitchen to make these great meals happen. I’ve also attended several events held in the newly renovated banquet hall and I am very impressed. This space is very accommodating, decorated beautifully and kept up very well. It is very clear that these people are very dedicated to this place.

Wow! I would recommend this country club and course to anyone. New owner has brought this course to its true potential. Jim the course pro is very attentive and knowledgeable and is always making improvements on the course. I’ve eaten many meals here and they are always great and never disappoints. Chrissy is always working hard day in and day out in the kitchen to please the course member's. Lastly I have attended several events in the newly renovated banquet hall and I have been very impressed with each visit, very roomy and clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating. It is clear that these people are very dedicated to this country club.

We had an outing at the club. I did not play, But after the round there was a get together for all Safari Club members. The Whately Inn put on a smorg that was out of this world. I even had to go up for seconds. As far as the golf, I was told that it was a very good course to play even though its only a nine hole track.

We arrived early to course and were told we wouldn't be able to tee off for at least one hour after our scheduled time because they had a course championship in progress. I checked the military tee times site and they were still showing tee times available before ours and we were not going to start anywhere our scheduled time. We left and played elsewhere that day. Would not recommend booking this course without calling directly to see what is scheduled. This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the worst delay.

NHCC was a well groomed fun course with an interesting layout. One hole is a dogleg right with a second shot up hill with the green set back in between a row of condos. As mentioned, it was in excellent shape considering the lack of rain here in Western Mass. Friendly staff and midweek seemed quiet, maybe a good time for beginners or to bring out a junior golfer. I will recommend this course to my friends and hope to return soon.

New owner and this place couldn't be more friendly. The layout is a bit tricky to follow first time. The 5th hole is the only one that really needs some attention. I thought the greens were EXCELLENT and most of the tee boxes and fairway were in pretty good shape. The traps have many rocks, but you can pick them out before your shot.
It's pretty wide open which is great for beginners, but pay attention because some hole are very close together. There is much work to do here but we got around 18 holes in just over 3 hours and my girlfriend enjoyed the day.
If you're looking for a fun 9 holes with little wait time and friendly people try this place out....

I found this course to be in very good condition. The pace of play was excellent. The 19th hole was very relaxing to sit down in after the round.

After playing around at the beginning of the season I swore I would never go back I have since tried again and the course seems to be getting better and better.

Played here a few times, this course has a good mix of holes\shots from my developing game.#1 par5 "grip & rip". Holes 2&6 fun 4's. Beware 3&4 share fairway. 4&5 require position T shots and targeted approach shots at greens nestled amongst condos. #7 long par3/239 from tips, unfortunately that offer little room for stance and backswing. # 9 requires straight T shots and 2nd shots with distance. Poolside and F&B facilities appear to offer cozy accommodations for members. Overall this convenient historic (1898) club offers fun golf at a good price.

Nice 9 hole course, great price, played in the evening and played 9 holes in 80 min.

The course was in pretty good shape! It's not the most difficult course but for the area and the price you can't really beat it. Granted if you want to play 18 holes if can get repetitive, but if you're just playing 9 it's perfect.

The course was in terrible condition couldn't use any of the greens. Fairways were in horrid condition.

This place I thought would be decent to get a few holes in on a Sunday. When we got there everything was Ok, But as we started playing the course their was running sprinklers everywhere on a Sunday at noon??? It was hard to even complete a hole. Between the beat up greens, the fact that you almost get hit by oncoming tee shots form the other direction and the fairways hard to recognize, ID say that this place is no better than playing golf in my back yard.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT SPEND THE MONEY ON THIS COURSE. VERY POOR CONDITIONS, FROM POOR TEE BOXES TO BAD FAIRWAYS AND GREENS. NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY. MAYBE ONE OF THE WORST COURSES IN NEW ENGLAND. THE DESIGN OF THE COURSE IS TERRIBLE. GO ELSEWHERE. UGHHH IT WAS A WASTE OF AN AFTERNOON.

It started with nobody in the pro shop, I had to go onto the course to find an employee to help me. The signage was non-existent! Could not find our way from one hole to the next! Did not know which green went with which hole. Sprinklers were going on fairways and greens at 11:00 AM forcing us to not finish holes. The fairways were in terrible shape. There was not a single golfer in the pro shop or restaurant and literally two other
two-somes playing. Worst course ever.
