The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley is tucked away in the Pioneer Valley, an area of western Massachusetts known for its lush, rolling hills. It is a favorite amongst locals since it is one of the best values in the region. The course enjoys scenic views that stretch to Mt. Tom and the Holyoke Range. It is on the shorter side at just over 6,500 yards from the back tees, but the dramatic changes in elevation make it seem much longer. Most of the greens are raised with steeply sloped sides, making accuracy essential since missing them by even just a few feet will result in a serious penalty. The golf course has a heavily wooded front nine that seamlessly transitions into a more open back nine featuring links-style holes. The Ledges is a shotmaker's course that offers several interesting risk-reward opportunities.

Great as usual
Course was in great shape. Greens were true and fast. Pace of play was a little slow, but it was a holiday. Rough was a little long, made it challenging to chip out of.
Great views, nice course.
The course is in good shape, some wet/soggy spots unexpected, poor drainage? greens are good, a little tricky to judge speed, rolling good. Fairways are good, some blind shots, trust your line, placement goes a long way.

Great course
The course was some wonderful condition. The day was a little dreary. So attendance was down, and the pace of play was fabulous. Great Course I like to play there whenever I can.
Another fun day
Have played here many times though Golfnow.
The course was showing the effects of the heavy rain we've experienced. Some of the bunkers were washed out, others with standing water. I tried to avoid all of them..
Based on past experience I'm sure.thiey will be back to the 5 stars I've given in the past.
Consistently Good
Always in great shape. Grernscwere slow this week likely due to all of the recent rain. The rough is penalizing as always. If you haven’t played here put it on your list. You won’t regret it.

The course was in great condition. Rough was a little challenging, which evens up

New golfer here, but I’ve played a handful of locations around the area.
Ledges is definitely my new favorite! The whole course is well maintained and everyone was very friendly!
Most holes were on the shorter side, but I prefer those! Some were narrower, making them a bit tricky for a newer golfer, but they definitely helped with getting me to shoot straighter!
Food was amazing! I got the jerk chicken wrap which was 10/10.
The view from the course is beautiful, with Mount Tom and the range off in the distance! It was slow during my round, so I found myself staring off into the distance quite a bit!
I’ll be coming back here more frequently now!
Mostly good, but pace terrible
I've been playing Ledges for a few years now. I like the layout and the conditions are generally always good. I've played mostly midweek, and the pace has been great those times. I've started to play on the weekends occasionally. My brother lives out in Western MA, so I'll make the drive out from Boston to play with him. Until yesterday, weekend rounds had been fine at about 4 hours, but yesterday it took 5 hours. We got stuck behind a single slow group that had multiple holes in front of them. We waited for them to clear the 14th green, and then hit our tee shots. We had to chip onto the green and then putt out. As we drove to the 15th tee, the group ahead of us still had not teed off. We tried to get help from the clubhouse to move them along, but they were understaffed, and said there wasn't anyone who could go out to push them along. The pace ruined what could have been a perfect day of golf.
Beautiful course, very well-maintained
Very pretty course. Some short par 4s, and very short par 3s. Overall a lovely course and not crowded. A good deal for the money.
