Slow
It was a beautiful day and was excited to play However, when we arrived we found tournament in front us. No advanced warning that there was a charity tournament. We ended u waiting 15-20 minutes each shot Which made it a long day and extremely annoying. We tried to reach ranger and they didn't know if ranger was on. When someone showed up they did nothing to expediate play,
I have organized groups to this course on numerous occasions. I wrote to the course management about this and never got reply. Poorly managed course that i would not recommend
Not great
Pace of play was atrocious. People just appeared in the tee box ahead of you that hadnt been there before. There was no ranger to prevent anyone from jumping in on holes or going out of turn. The restaurant staff was incredibly unpleasant and condescending. The course itself was fantastic, but impossible to enjoy due to the absurdly slow pace of play and inconsistent enforcement of rules.

Course is challenging but fun
First time we played at Sandwich Hollow. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the speed of play, as we were able to finish our round in 3.5 hours. Challenging layout which made the course fun to play. Ball placement on drives is everything.
Overall, a course we would definitely play again.

Very disappointed
Painfully slow pace of play, ended up leaving but the staff thankfully acknowledged our frustration and gave us a rain pass for 9 to make up for the horrible experience. Sadly I cannot recommend this course to others based on today’s visit. Hopefully things will improve this summer.

food , golf and good people
The staff at this place is great , I enjoy playing here when I can the people and the food with the offerings is great better than most courses and great that they are open so you can enjoy foord golf with friends and family , my son came in from Myrtle Beach and my wife & I enjoyed our round with our 12 sons it was a great day for the family and the course the people here are just great.
You gotta have the chowda and the grille cheese its to die for.

This course has a lot of bare spots, hard pan and tree roots in play.
We played this course for the second time, both times booked via GolfNow. First time was last September when the course was extremely dry and the ball rolled forever on bare ground where grass used to be. We wanted to play it again in the Spring when the grass would have grown in. Unfortunately there are still a lot of bare spots and exposed tree roots in rough areas that are still in play. Had to move the ball on several holes to find a grass area and not risk damage to our clubs on the next shot. The fairways seemed OK and greens were in good shape. Low handicappers would probably enjoy this course more than higher handicaps.

Greens recently punched, when they fill in and are cut and rolled should be beautiful,
Some tee boxes are a bit rough, fairways in nice shape and greens in short order should be much better than what we played yesterday. Interesting course with a few severe hills and cross pitches. Could have used a starter at first tee as some groups jumping in front but once on course things moved out nicely finishing in 4:15.

Great open course
I’ve played her twice in last two weeks. I’m. Very big fan. I like how open the course is. Fairway and greens are well manicured and taken care of. Green speeds in April are fairly fast. Will be a real challenge come summer. Love the blind shots and elevation changes. Great setup
