Course is true to its name
The fairways on this course are well groomed but best to stay in the centre as the edge rough is long. Greens are very well kept and not as fast as they look. We loved playing the many holes with elevated tee boxes, and the fairway hollows were somewhat challenging but allowed lots of roll!
Nice layout, sloooowww greens
First time playing Sandwich Hollows. I like the layout. Definitely a course where knowing where to hit it helps. But the greens were painfully slow. Slowest greens I've played in a long time.

Pleasantly surprised
We had heard this course was very hilly. After playing at another Cape Cod course that was also hilly we were not expecting a great day. We were definitely surprised to have had such a wonderful afternoon t this course. We got a great deal on Golf Now and figured how bad could it be. The course was in good shape and very pretty. There was also a beverage cart that came around once. The club house had a great big bar and dining room. We did not eat there but would next time. Also had Billiard table and dart board. Would definitely return to this course.

Great experience.
Second time playing here and it was a pleasure just like the first. Hit it straight off the tee box and you'll be in for low scoring. Greens could be a bit faster but what can you do? I will definitely be back.

Good experience
First time playing the course and overall was pleased, Ease of check in was excellent. I was lucky that the 2 men I was playing with had a tight time schedule so we were allowed to go off the back 9, otherwise it probably would have been pretty slow going. Greens were in excellent shape though a bit on the slow side. I was surprised with the amount of elevation changes, Not a course to really walk.I had never played the course, so there were a couple of holes where I had no idea where to go due to blind shots. That being said I olook forward to getting another chance to play there

I’ve played here at least 50 rounds
The course is in good shape, they finished the construction last year and this is the best the course has ever played. They fixed the 7th & 9th tee boxes which were so bad before and for the most part all of the tee boxes are in good shape. They removed some bad bunkers and improved soothe conditions of others. They have also opened up some nice views of the canal over the years and added a few nice touches to the course. The front 9 is very good golf, the back 9 features some poorly designed holes, most notably the 17th. They have a grass driving range which is fantastic. It is a short but challenging course that will punish bad shots, lots of undulation and blind shots. Greens get fast in the summer along with deep thick rough and long feskew. Lack of starter remains one one of the biggest issues especially as it gets busier. Overall it’s a good value and fun laid back experience.

Holiday Golf
Booked through GolfNow on a discounted rate. Good clubhouse with friendly staff..No starter which meant that the first tee was a bit chaotic.overall condition of the Course was good.greens excellent. Tee areas lookin very worm. Interesting, , challenging layout. Would definitely play again.

Good cape course
Only thing that prevented a straight 5 rating few rough fairways rest of the course in excellent shape greens slightly slow bar and grill excellent food very good and plentiful staff very friendly

Great deal
Booked multiple tee times in a row on a 50 degree day. 2 days after we got a lot of rain. Course was wet but playable. Tobey offered info about the conditions before we tee'd off. Very helpful. Busy day with golfers but nice pace. Highly recommend. great year round price.
Glad I made the trip
I drove two hours to play this course because it's not quite golf season yet in northeast CT. So happy I did. Every hole stands on its own with it's unique layout and challenges. No need to worry about anybody slicing a drive onto your fairway because every hole is also set apart from every other one. Greens were in amazing shape for being early March. Bunker sand was soft. I can't wait to see this course in full bloom. I will definitely make the trip out here again

Love the elevation changes
This course have a nice layout. While challenging,it’s scoreable. Some may not care for hills,but this course has a good amount of elevation changes throughout the course. At first it’s overwhelming,but playing it for the second time,I accepted it and use the landscape to my advantage. If you’re in the area,give it a shot you won’t be disappointed.
