Sandwich Hollows Golf Club

The rangers were non existant all day to keep up steady pace play by other golfers on course. In fact the only time we saw the rangers was when it was close sunset and they wanted to everyone to speed up play. How ironic !!! we hadn't seen them all day and when it close for them to go home, they want play sped up.

Great condition for the beginning of the season. Greens were lush but a tad thick. Fairways in great condition and a great value for the money, easily 50 plus course and then add cart fee.
Played 36 due to the quick play and condition.

The course is well maintained. Greens were in good shape early in the season.

Great course, open and friendly to the public, what more do you need? (ok, you can see the salt water from the 3rd tee, can you see yourself making a birdie?). That's all, go and decide for yourself.

Sandwich Hollows is a very hilly, municipal public course which is fun to play and inexpensive. No one would mistake it for a fancy private course but it is a delight to play and reasonably well kept. Grass in the rough tends to be left long in the summer since they don't have a lot of irrigation. Off the fairways is heavily wooded so you do need to be able to hit them straight.
The back nine requires a cart unless you are part mountain goat. The cart rack rate is expensive, $18.
The driving range is nice because it has grass tee boxes, not those mats. The food is pub style with blackboard specials and very good.
