Hard to rate in the drought!
Staff was great. Quick getting off and seems like a good track. Problem is that so much of the course is burned out by the lack of rain and intense heat we have. I would gladly play here again though ideally when it is in better condition. Despite this, the greens were in pretty good shape overall. I suspect there are many courses in New England suffering from the same thing. De
OK course, managed terribly
Always stacked up, moves terribly slow, no staff around to keep people moving. Takes minimum 2+ - 3 hours to play 9.
Super quick and easy nine
This is a nice little nine hole course for golfers like me in a 17-22 handicap range. It’s wide open, some long holes, but still easy to manage even if you hit right. Course is well maintained, despite the hot weather and dry conditions. Staff is super friendly and the course attracts casual golfers mostly. It’s in my rotation when I want to get in a quick round. I gave it four stars because I wish it was an 18 hole course.
Never have the greens been this bad
I've been playing unicorn for 20yrs and I've never seen the greens look so bad. I know we haven't had much rain but that's no excuse for the way the looked...its like they gave up on them. Will not be going back any time soon.
Unicorn Golf
Great value and decent conditions. First time playing and I will go back. The greens are a little choppy but overall a great course Mostly 5 par 4s. 1 par 5 and a few par 3s.
Unicorn so/so
Unfortunately Unicorn is the most local convenient golf course near me, greens aren’t all that well kept, staff sucks, hole 6 is almost always a muddy swap of a nightmare, on 6 you’re better off missing the fairway, a good shot lands you in mud even on nicer days.
Pace of play is typically awful, staff does nothing to help pace along
Great course, bad staff
Great course but the staff is terribly rude, stressed, and short-tempered. Yelling and screaming at customers are just not acceptable (and it was not even me that get yelled at so this is not personal)
Really decent course for all!
Although a little far for me, it was worth it! Played solo in a group of four! I was running late as usual but was able to walk straight out to my first tee box. Although the boxes are relatively small, they open up to well manicured fairways and trimmed greens! I was really happy to see how wide most fairways were. Most are usually 60 to 70 yards at the widest points and between 45 to 50 yards wide on narrower holes.
It was very hot and I walked the entire course without a pusher and it was pretty doable for most fit golfers. Very few steep drops on the cart path but some of the holes were very hilly!
8 out 10.
