Well maintained.
Good mix of short/long holes. We just got lost on a couple of holes. Signage on some holes could be better.
Play it if you get a chance.
So you think a par 60 is a track you would chew up easily. Think
again. There are no 90 yard pitch shot holes, and the elevation
changes, and aggressive bunkering make this a challenge for
any handicap level. Course was in excellent shape, though
the greens had been recently aerofied. And...it is visually
attractive, as well.
Disappointed with the greens
A beautiful course and layout.
I was disappointed with slowness of the greens.
They were way too long.
It's my only gripe but enough that I might think twice about playing there again.
Enjoyable to Play
well maintained,Somewhat challenging it will give you all you can handle for its Par ratting.........
Good course for a quick round with challenges for all levels.
This was an enjoyable course which had challenges for accuracy, putting and sand play. Not a long course so I would recommend playing it from the "tips". The day we played it was sunny and warm but course was very quiet. I would expect this to be different in the summer. Due to the distance betweem holes and the rolling topography it is better suited for cart golf rather than wagon. Very well maintained tees and greens. Two issues...no drinking water on course and no halfway house for a snack so bring your own supplies especuially if play slows down. The summer peak rates appear high but comparable to other executive courses for the season. Good value at the Golfnow rate.
This is a fun course to play.
I have played this course 2 times now and find it to be challenging but not overly difficult for the average player such as myself. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a well maintained and fun course to play.
Very challenging executive course
Well maintained, beautiful course was laid out throughout a development of condos and homes. You could not see any other hole as you golfed. Very challenging par 3's narrow fairways and a ton of bunker strategically place to challenge your club selection.a few longer holes but leave your woods in the bag.
Fun course to play.
Many short yet challenging holes. Great layout and beautiful grounds.
What a Pleasant Surprise
I stumbled upon The Golf Club at Yarmouthport through GolfNow. I hadn't heard of it before, and found the course to be a delight. Three of us played the course on a cool New England fall day. The course shorter than we normally played, but every bit as challenging - don't let it's length lull you into complacency. The tight fairways and multi-tiered greens forced us to think carefully about club selection and shot placement.
The course was in great condition from the tips of the tee boxes through the greens. And the layout was intriguing. There was only one confluence of holes where the layout was a little tight. For the most part, the way the course was carved through the golf community's homes allowed each hole to be well separated from the others. The staff was courteous and efficient both as we went out and on our return to the pro shop.
We're looking forward to our next round there.
A Challenging Executive Course
This is a Challenging Executive course with tight fareways and multilevel greens.
