This course holds water like a fishtank. The rough is roots and swamp. Terrible conditions always; I highly recommend not coming here.
Awesome Changes at Norwood
Yes, Norwood is a fair, easy golf course for a low handicapper, yet I used every club in my bag. I wanted to relay to all golfers the huge improvements concerning course conditions. The greens a pure bent and roll beautifully, the fairways are now defined, they have expanded the fringe areas (collection areas) which helps the golfer and speeds up play, the prices are incredible and the bar is a fun place afterwards.
Double Bogey
I was pretty disappointed in the round at Norwood CC. The course fairways are the worst condition I have ever seen. Pace of play would've been better had there been a starter. It was a free for all to tee off. $56 isn't a lot to spend to play golf but there are plenty of better options on GolfNow.
Good Starter Course
Norwood Country Club is where I learned how to play the game many, many years ago. Being in my hometown it was convenient and inexpensive, a perfect combination for a teenager. I would recommend this course for beginners as it is pretty straightforward,. the holds are lined up side by side like aisles in a costco. The staff is VERY nice and helpful
