Good Shape & Great Value
They’ve done a Great Job keeping this course in playing condition with all the rain that seems to never end. This may be a short course, but well laid out and challenging. Works well for beginners AND intermediate players and will even challenge the advanced players to make their handicap.
Fun course
I like this course a lot. Challenging in places and easy in others. I wish I had more time to play here.
OK - but wet the day we played
We played on a sunny calm Sunday morning. The entire golf course was extremely wet and very soft in places. Had a roster tail of water on every putt (even the 18th green).
The balls would plug in the fairways.
Not why it was so wet, I have played the course several times in the past and did not encounter these types of conditions.
All that being said, it still is somewhat challenging course and you need to be super accurate with your irons to hit the very small greens.
I think this is one of the oldest courses in the area, but its still fun.
Course is in POOR condition!!
Finished 9, go to 10, they let A foursome, a 3 some x's 2 go off. Told us to go find a hole that's open, NEVER AGAIN
Grass clippings lol
No complaints other than the grass clippings making it hard to find your ball!
Nice course!
Some open holes, some narrow holes, greens were n fantastic shape
Good time
It's good to play this course once or twice to learn its quirks. Overall good layout and course conditions, and the greens are always in great shape.
Pebblewood CC
This is a nice course for the average golfer. 3 of the par 3's were on the long side 190 yds. The par 4's /5's were average length. It's early spring so I think once the trees and grass get to normal condition it will be a very nice course. People and the staff were all very friendly. This was my first time playing this course and I will definitely go back.
Subpar Course
The course conditions were terrible. The fairways were extremely patchy and unmaintained. Same is true for the tee boxes. The greens were slow and soaked even though it had not rained in a couple days. The ranger interrupted my shot in order to remove the pins. This was a little before 6pm. Few people were playing the course.
Great course for beginners
This place will help your confidence. Wide open fairways, moderate greens, a short course with many par 4 around 300yrds. Had a great time trying to land the greens on my drives. Definitely a confidence builder.
Course needs a ranger!
We booked a tee time online (18 holes) and an outing was booked on the back nine for one hour after we teed off. When we made the turn there were four groups waiting to tee off ahead of us. We would have gladly started on the back if we had known. They also allow five-somes. The course itself is okay, but it needs some management!
Very nice course
I enjoyed my round at Pebblewood while on vacation. The greens were in very good condition and the course was well manicured. There are some easy holes and some challenging holes to keep it interesting.
Good local course - good rates
Decently challenging, some water and narrower fairways. Rough greens. No practice range.
Course is a great one with the family.
I had a great time playing this course established in the 1920s. We vacation in Lakeside and it's a short drive north from there. The staff/owners were out working on the cart path on 15, so we were able to get some history of the course. Straight fairways playable greens. Some of the greens were smaller, but that help with the challenge. My fatherinlaw and I had a great time with an exceptional value. I would go back!
