Pine Knob
Luckily it wasn’t real busy so very little if any wait time. Course conditions were reall good. Will definitely play again.
Hidden gem
Most challenging greens in Oakland County. Need to be aware of the hill at all times when putting. Not long but greens make the course!
Guy behind the desk is a jerk. Not even professional at all. Dressed like a hillbilly. Very rude. This course paired us up with a father and 5 yr old. We complained that we shouldve been paired with an adult. He said you didnt pay us you paid gplfnow. Call them and tell them to give you your money back and I will rebook you 40 minutes later for $30 per person. When we paid $19. A gentlemen with a collared shirt walked up to us and had us go outside with him. He took us to the starter and sent us to do 9. As we approached hole 8. We were waiting a very long time. Guess who was holding everyone up...The guy with the kid. Seriously. They took off at 1200. We teed off at 1230. We decided to cut our loses and went home. We are in the business and have never been treated like this. Maybe the website should have an age limit. I understand we can be paired up. But not with a child. We feel we should be refunded.
Nice Track!
As expected This course was in great shape , greens were semi fast and the fairways were in good shape.
Great course
First time playing Pine Knob. Won't be the last . Wonderful course. Great deal for the price.
Wonderful Course!
Had to go to the Detroit area on business and decided to play a course in the area. Sorted golf now choices by customer ratings and this one came out on top. Having played it, I see why. Absolutely in excellent condition tee to green! Almost like playing an expensive resort course. We were there on a Monday so it wasn't terribly crowded. My fiance and I played the first seven holes in just under an hour before we caught up to the group ahead of us on number 8. Took another half hour to play 8 and 9. We stopped for lunch at the turn and you should too. The burgers are to die for. Our thinking was we'd let the group ahead of get out on the back nine and we'd catch them around hole 6 or so and it wouldn't slow us down much. It didn't quite work out that way. We had started ahead of two older women on the front nine and forgot about them since there was no one to slow us up. We took and hour for lunch and when we went to the tee on the back side, these two women were just teeing off. Needless to say, they've never heard of the concept of letting faster golfers play through so the back nine took over two and a half hours. Frustrating but the weather was perfect so we just tried to relax and deal with it. Because of the course conditions and the weather it turned out fine. If you're in the area this is one course you shouldn't miss!
Pine Knob Golf
The course was aesthetically very nice. A beautiful day but due to the recent rains it was very wet and supposedly "cart path" only. Unfortunately there were no rangers to reinforce their rules. So there were a lot of non compliant golfers which lead to golfers pushing us because we stayed on the paths as asked. Other than that would probably play again when the conditions are drier.
Long Time Since I Played Here
Price was right on a GolfNow.com Hot Deal so I went back to play Pine Knob. I couldn't remember a lot of the holes but the course was in perfect shape. Lots of fun and I can't wait to go back.
Loved it again
Came back a week after playing it for the first time. This time I brought the gang with me. Everyone loved it. Played the same two courses (Eagle and Falcon). Paid $28 per person and it was definitely worth it. I would play here every week if I didn't have the urge to try a different course every week. Everything is maintained well. Tees, fairways, rough, bunkers, and greens are all pristine or close to it. Can't wait to come back.
Great course
Paid $20 for one the best courses I've played this year. Great value. Playing again next week.
Great Track
I have been told in the past to play this track. I finally did and it was worth it. We played all 27 holes and can't wait to go back to play there again. The greens were fast at times with some difficult pin placements. The only thing bad I could say about this track was the heavy amount of grass clippings on the Hawk. Make sure you get a burger at the turn, well worth the money!
Great course
The course is challenging, well maintained a d beautiful
