Lincoln Country Club

The cost is relatively cheap but so is the course. The fairways are like most other courses roughs.

Course was a complete mess. Leaves are all over the place. There's been plently of time to clean them up this season. They moved several holes on the back nine but had not updated their score cards. Could not make out the fairways. I didn't pay a ton for this round but these were the worst conditions I've ever played in.

Worse greens I have ever seen. Even patches of sod were dead and corners curled up.

We used golfnow to find a tee time at another course after our foursome fell apart for the course we planned on playing that was booked solid for tee times. We didn't want to sit and wait all day to play and we were able to jump on Lincoln and play 18 holes with a threesome in 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Nice course, pretty empty in the afternoon. Staff was all really nice. Not too hard of a course.

It was apparent the moment we stepped on this course that the owner had stopped putting money into maintaining it. It started with waiting 10 minutes of waiting and then yelling through the staff door for anyone to show up at the club house to get us started and quickly went down hill from there. We managed to book our tee time at the same time there was a wedding on the course so we were told we could not start of the first or tenth hole and if we had time later we could come back to them. As we were riding down the first fairway to get to the second hole we noticed that there was very little grass on the entire course and definitely no such thing as a fairway. A well struck shot down the middle found mostly dirt or weeds to lay in, but on occasion you would be lucky enough to find a patch of 3-4 inch grass that would swallow the ball. Occasionally, if you hit it to the left or right where the trees are, you might find a good section of grass that leaves you with a good lie. Many of the greens were missing significant portions of grass also. This made putting quite the challenge as the ball speed would change as it rolled from dirt to grass and back. The tee boxes were usually slightly raised mounds of crabgrass and the hole marker signs posted the wrong yardage (not even close) on about half of the holes and some of the tee markers were just plain missing. In short, if you ever have the chance to play this course for free, I would recommend skipping it.

Greens were ok.. The fairway ground was hard. It was not expensive which made everything ok.

fairways were cut unevenly, blades weren't set evenly, hard to tell fairway end and rough started. Saw a guy mowing thick rough on a walk behind mower and leaving grass clumps so bad u couldn't see grass under them. Very poorly maintained unless u can golf it for under 15 bucks I wouldn't reccommend it. Long rough is 8 to 10 inches thick. Layout not bad just to bad course is so neglected

We began playing at early. 7:00am at the latest. The four of us had a great time but we headed out before an outing that started at 9:00am. The first 9 was great. On the second 9 we ran into the golf outing. Play slowed down.

Overall it was a good experience and we all had fun.

The course is not in good shape. The fairways are non-existent and the greens are pretty shaggy. The only good part is the course is usually wide open and I was able to play fast and hit multiple practice shots if I wanted.

the greens still had dew,water on them at 8:30 till 11:00 the fairways were terrible the rough was double the us open. couldn`t enjoy golf when you had 3 people looking for your ball on every hole.

Very poorly kept fairways. Many times cannot tell the difference between the rough and the fairway. Lost a ball 60 yards from the pin in the middle of the fairway because the grass was way too long.

Customer Service was abysmal and we lost several balls in the fairway due to the poor conditions of the greens. Needs maintenance badly.

The worst course I have ever been too. The grass was so poorly maintained there was hardly even a fairway. The grass was so long that every time a ball got hit by our group we had to spend extra time looking for them because the long grass was camouflaging the balls. My group paid for 18 and was so discouraged that we only played 6. The guy at the front office would not refund us our money, or even let us get a refund back for just 9 holes. All we got offered was a rain check and what good is that if we never plan on coming back. Bottom line do not play this course it is very poorly maintained, but if you do make sure to bring a lot of extra balls.

This is the bumpiest course I have every played. The grass is cut and maintained in other ways. Close to home.
