About
Dunham Hills Golf Club is situated amidst rolling hills and mature trees. The course is a demanding, but fun test of your skills. The topography presents challenging elevation changes throughout the course but accurate shots will be rewarded with level lies. The undulating fairways and lightning fast greens provide a variety of different shot options that will please the skilled shot-maker. Be prepared to utilize every club in your bag. Accuracy is essential on every hole in order to avoid the unpleasant lies that lurk beneath the hardwoods and pines but the trick is to keep the ball on the fairway. The layout opens with a tree-lined par 4 that is representative of the entire golf course. This tricky hole features a single bunker placed in front of a green that is sloped left to right.

Great layout
Needed to blow leaves off the greens on the back nine
Great round of Fall golf!
The course is in great shape!! Greens were already filled in from aeration and they were fast and true! We will definitely be back!

A Hidden Treasure of a Golf Course
We just played Dunham Hills Golf Course for the first time and what a hidden treasure this is! Everything about the course, the pace of play, the conditions and the value for the money was exceptional. I highly recommend this course. Yes, it is challenging but even higher handicaps can easily play this course from the forward tees.
Challenging course
Nice greens and fairways, tee boxes and cart paths are not in par.
Always challenging
Playing from the back tees requires decent length and accuracy in order to avoid tree trouble. Greens were in great shape, moderate speed. Subtle breaks.
Empty front 9, crowded back 9
Very tough greens, tons of slope. Hilly fairways with trees lining the sides - need to not only hit straight but place your drives into slopes. Long par 3's, uphill greens with blind shots. #9 had water about ~230 up that you couldn't see from the tee box. Not a lot of doglegs.
Course was empty on the front 9 - no one booked ahead of us for 90 minutes. We were able to finish in 1 hour 30 minutes. Got to hole 10 and there was a 3 group wait to tee off. Back 9 took over 3 hours. Lots of high handicap older golfers who can barely hit the ball 100 yards.
Understaffed - staff was way overworked. No one present at the counter for check in. No one present at the bar at the turn. Kids were running around between cart duty, check in duty, and kitchen/bar duty.
No cart paths and the few dirt paths needed repair. Greens were in terrific condition, just a ton of slope. Several holes where my approach landed on the green and the slope took it to the other side or off the green. A few tee boxes had very little grass - hard to grow in the shade on a par 3. No cart GPS. Some signs should be added to tell golfers where #1 and #10 tee boxes are.
It's OK, but not going to make it into our weekly rotation of courses.
Exceeded Our Expectations
We used a Group Golfer coupon and the value for our money was excellent. Course layout is good and I found the course itself to be somewhat challenging. I wouldn't mind walking this course someday as it would be awesome exercise, there is a reason it is called Dunham HILLS!
Friendliest staff around
Seriously, this course has exceptional service- bartenders, cart girls, pro shop staff- they are always happy to talk to you and help you, even just have a conversation. I have never had a bad experience with staff here. A little pricey but worth it- beautiful and scenic course that’s usually not too crowded. Love this course and it’s staff, you can’t go wrong going here.
Down The Tubes
Advertised new greens-they are sod! Shaggy, bumpy, sloppy. Raised their rates as well-entire group left without finishing our round. Pace of play was awful, terrible service in grill room, clueless staffing-This used to be a premier golf course that has really gone downhill. I would NEVER play here again. There is an attitude here that they just don't care-They should sell this course to someone who knows what they are doing. Wasted a perfectly beautiful day here.
Back nine closed
Did not know only front nine open for play. Staff said back nine would open during weekend. So we played front nine twice. We were a twosome and played pretty fast.
