Must play
This course is an old style course. Trees and large greens with a lot of roll and breaks. I visited the trees too much.
The first 9 holes was fine
After the first 9 holes, we ended up starting the 10 th hole with a 5-some group in front who were not going to allow anyone to go through. We had to skip 3 holes to get past a five some and then a 3 some as we were just two players.
For a muni course Cascades is great
This is a terrific course. I've heard for years how nice it was and I can't believe it took me so long to play it. The greens are really nice. Some elevation changes but nothing earth shattering.
Ideal for so so golfers like me and my golfing wife who isn't bad but isn't great.
One hole has two greens with two holes with two flags I have no idea why.
This course is in great shape. Greens and fairways
Always enjoy playing here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Course is in very good condition. Especially loved how well the greens roll. Fairways were cut properly and the rough was also cut so that you would not lose your ball. Also has alot of challenges without being ridiculous. Overall good layout.
Had a great experience golfing this course.
Great Course; Always a good decision
I played this course a couple of times as a junior in tournaments, and immediately loved it. This is a challenging, but very fair course. Not extremely long, and gives you plenty of teeing options to fit your play-style.
Starts out with two moderate length par fives to get your game going. Nothing tricky in the first few holes, but then comes the placement game. The course likes its dog-legs; and demands placing your drives rather than just overpowering the course, hence the difficulty rating. Don't worry though, the carts have a GPS system in them to show you the distances to the front, middle, and back of the green as well as points of interest (like the bend of a dog-leg). The greens are big and very undulating (I had a 50+ ft putt that swung about 20 ft). Always a great time on this course.
Great Value
The course is in very good condition and the staff is very friendly!!
Great course as usual and the greens were a bit on the fast side which was a nice surprise.
It was nice to actually deal with someone that understands just how golf now works. Nice experience.
