Paint Creek Country Club

I was a member of this club for a brief period of time and joined just for the golf. I left the club because the course was maintained by a sloppy pro shop. This can create problems because of things like conflict with members. The course opened to public because they are struggling to get people to play because the course doesn't live up to the cost. It's a beautiful course, no doubt about that, but there are less expensive nearby courses of the same quality.

Beyond that, the frustrating part about a private course that opens up to the public is dealing with members. They have a "this is my course" attitude and I they were not happy they opened the course up to the public.

Note: after booking, call the shop to verify everything was booked accurately. Again, the pro-shop is a bit sloppy.

Entire staff is super friendly and helpful !! Course is challenging for all types of golfers, while still being extremely fair off most tee boxes.

It's the second time I've played the course and I liked it even more. The course layout is very good, everything is right in front of you, no blind tee shots or tricked out holes. I expected the greens to be in a little better shape as the course used to be strictly private, but they weren't bad. I'm looking forward to playing it more next year.

Bought two group golfers and the place would not let me book since “members were already playing” despite times being available on golf now. New ownership has really taken a dive.

Greens are amazing, layout is perfect, staff is incredible! Love this course!!

Nice course, great tee boxes, fairways etc. Ram into one of the owners on a twilight single tee time. Real nice guy along with the rest of staff, lots of wild life. It’s a little tight so make sure you hit ‘em straight!! I’d recommend the course especially for the money.

Paint Creek is a must play. Fairways are perfect and greens rolled well even after all the rain we’ve been having

Paint Creek is a nice course but we played there in a tournament and we had to take a storm break for a while. Paint Creek said we couldn't finish because another storm was coming our way BUT they then allowed one of their leagues to play. So we weren't allowed to finish our last 4 holes so their league could start on time! They didn't let us finish even though we had to stop because of lightning but they did allow their league to play.

I will remember that and will not go back there.

Very fun course !! Excellent fairways, excellent tee boxes and prestine greens. Somewhat challenging layout with alot of blind shots . Would love to golf this course more often.

Loved the front nine, old school, back nine was added years later and there was a feeling of 2 very different nines. Not that this was an awful thing but to me the front felt like a country club and the back did not.
