Rolling Hills Golf Course

Prepare to pay to dollar for the worst course in Michigan.

I will start by saying this is one of my favorite courses. However, I got paired with three other people at the clubhouse and the employee acted like I knew that’s what I signed up for. I booked for a single golfer and he said it’s their policy to do that which is fine but it would have been nice to know ahead of time since they have never done that before. The pace of play was terrible as the tee times were 5 minutes apart for groups of four. We would have had time to play every hole twice before teeing off on the next hole. Overall good course and friendly staff just minor issues.

This place used to be subpar but over the past two years the new ownership has made this place as good as any $100 course for a fraction of the price. Highly recommend checking it out this year.

Ever since Marty took over, the rates have increased exponentially, they give out pro shop credit at golf outings instead of cash prizes, and they won’t honor rain checks when issued. The guy thinks he’s running pebble beach when he’s quite literally got one of the worst courses in Michigan. There’s a reason he’s managing a golf course in Lapeer.

This course is making quick progress. The greens and tee boxes are in excellent shape! Definitely has great potential and the new owners are making big strides in revamping this place. I’ve played several courses this year that where is the same category and price range and this has greatly excelled where the other courses in this category have took a dive.

The course was fun, with a little water, and some dog legs. I would definitely play there again.

Better course than two years ago. Good job with the overall course. Greens great condition. Fairways good condition .

* played on Tuesday at 10:30 18 holes and finished first 9 in 1 hour. Now finished 4 holes in an hour. They have an 18 hole (not typo) scramble weekly league apparently on Tuesdays.

Got a great hot deal and played for $27 18 holes w a cart. Greens were nice, little too bushy on the fringe/uneven fringe around greens. Staff was great, carts are older and loud but got me thru. Overall would recommend for the value.
