Golfer Reviews
Course is well maintained
Hidden gem with acceptable greens and fairways. Course offers plenty of challenges.
Fair deal
Nice layout, good price for the round. Fairways if you could call them that were desperately needing water. Greens were well maintained and true with some challenging holds.
Poor tee time management
We had a 8:00am tee time and they let a foursome without a tee time go in front of a twosome at exactly 8:00 am. Pretty rude. Decent course for the money but not very professional. I’ll definitely try something else if I’m in the area.
Good for the price
Did a hot deal on GolfNow. was a 28 bucks with cart at 8:50am. Pace of play was pretty slow, which is understandable on a saturday, but would of liked a starter or ranger out there. Pretty chill course, some fun holes with rivers and creeks running through . lots of thick heather to lose balls in.Yay. Definately worth it for the price, but be prepared to have a 5 hour round.
A Castle Rises
Somewhere in the bowels of Lum Michigan there is a homey golf course that sets amidst the farms and fields. A great golf course if you worry about hitting houses, because there are none. Wide open space and many trees and thickets on the sides. You may lose golf balls along the way unless you don't mind traveling in the weeds. If you don't mind, then many balls to discover. What the course lacks in proper sand traps, it makes up for in challenge and quiet nature (unless gun season where you can hear guns shots and blinds in the distance). Great course if you don't mind traveling off the beaten path. The course and people welcome you with a smile and open arms.
Great little course
I hadn’t been to this golf course in over 20 years because it used to be a real cow pasture. I teed off at 8:10 AM and the course was wide open until the sixth hole and then the pace of play was good. This is a really fun course. That is in great shape. It offers many challenges and the greens put straight. Well done on refurbishing this diamond in the rough. For the price, you can’t beat it.
