course in good shape for fall. Greens were in good shape for late in year
Best Bang For Your Buck in Michigan!
Rolling Hills has been a staple of my friend group’s golf outings for the longest time. They consistently have the best prices for tee times and the course is well taken care of given the price. I have no complaints of fairway quality or greens, every miss I’ve had is my own fault, not the course’s. The course offers some great challenges without compromising on enjoyment.. I firmly believe this is one of the few hidden gem courses in Michigan and will be coming back for the foreseeable future. The one downside is the many senior golf groups that play the course. I enjoy playing 18 holes in about 4 hours but when I find myself stuck on the tee box waiting, the cause is usually a group of senior golfers backing up the entire course and causing my round to become a 5 or 6 hour ordeal. Overall, an awesome course!
Good course, greens good
Good course. Greens good. Good deal from golf now hot deal. Played here last August also and it was nice. Nice fairways in good condition.
Will be back!
I have played this course several times in the past because it was cheap and I knew what I was getting. I was apprehensive about playing here but I decided to give it a try, and I was not let down. The quality of the course was way better than I imagined it to be. Last time I played the course was covered in dandelions, crab grass, dead trees and suspect green but not anymore. The care of the course was fantastic and the staff in the club house were incredibly friendly. This course will be added back to my rotation.
Good course for the money
Course in great shape. Cart paths are horrible. Fix those and alls good. #4 tee box is a mess.
The new owner put a lot of work into the course. It’s much better than what it used to be
Great Value
Course was in very good condition. Fairly open course with not many places to get in trouble. Great value, would play there again.
Great place to play with friends and family and to work on your game.
Nice but needs some more time to mature
Saturday July 5, 2025 8:40am tee time 18/cart $50
Cart #64 little sketchy. Throttle didn’t want to engage a couple times. Had to let off and let it fully come back before it would work.
Got there early so they sent me off as a single at 8:15am. First 3 holes (& plenty others on the front 9) felt like you were driving over rumble strips on the freeway both on and especially off the fairway. Beat you to death. Yardage signs were way off for the tee boxes (some as much as 40+ yards off). No clue where to go for 4th hole as you drive thru a sub division down a dirt path over curbs not ramped down to get to hidden tee boxes behind a few houses.
Front 9 definitely gives “Public course” vibes.
Back 9 plays better. Short holes crammed together. All the tee boxes need watering as getting a tee in the ground was like pushing it into cement.
Hot morning with no breeze on a fairly open course today so be prepared to hydrate often.
Nice clubhouse staff getting me out before the rush. Kind of a longish walk from bag drop to clubhouse and from cart return to parking lot.
Decent course. Needs better signage. Cart paths are pretty beaten up. Plays very open.
Shot 49 on the front and 43 on the back. Pretty much my typical scoring range.
A lot of reviews have mention how much it has improved recently. Will give it another year or so to hope they continue working on it before I give them another try.
Friendly staff and good pace of play
Very well maintained greens, fairways and tee boxes.
Just average
The greens were in pretty good condition. There was a 4 some in front of us that held up 4 groups behind them and there was no ranger anywhere.
I tried 4 different ball washers and not one was filled with water.
Save your money
Horribly managed, I live 5 min away and will not be back.
