Nice track for the price
Good track, better than expected. The GPS in the cart only worked about 40% of the time. Good layout as well.
Spring is in the air.
The day was a little windy and cool at 52 degrees but the sun was out making it enjoyable. The course was still kicking off the winter effects much like the rust in my game. Grass was a little brown yet but the greens rolled smoothly.. Bunker sand needs some work and so does my bunker game so I tried a number of them out. In fact more than my share. I love the course and know that it will be in tip top shape before long. If you haven't played here yet I don't know what you are waiting for. It's a beautiful layout so you can enjoy that even if your "A" game isn't with you.
Golf with friends.
My wife and I invited her brother and his friend to join us for a round. The course was in good condition for early in the season. We like the course and they did too. We will be back!

Great course, great value
Played this course in March and it was in excellent shape for the time of year. The pace was a little slow in parts due to a college tournament playing at the same time but I was able to get all 18 in after teeing off around 4. Not necessarily a “scenic” course, but you get a great feel of being isolated and out in nature because it’s fairly remote and in a wetland area. The course design was nice, you could tell the designer knew what he was doing and put some thought into it but it wasn’t overly hard. There weren’t any holes that felt overly designed for difficulty. Staff was super nice. I live in the Lansing area, and this course is well worth the 30 minute drive. I can’t wait to play it in the summer when it’s all greened up.
Great challenge
Lots of hazards and tight corridors make this a worthy challenge . Great conditions and friendly staff!

Great course...GPS was worthless
The gps was ineffective. Too many ads and always out of sync with reality. Bring a gps of your own. Got quoted 10% off on a golf bag and then no discount when I came back to buy it. The staff is a little inconsistent.
Thank you for your review davenerz and we are sorry that it seems your gps unit's connection to the satellites and was ineffective. They are great when they work but unfortunately at times they fail and need to be rebooted. Our goal is that next time you are out it works flawlessly.
Great condition poor pace of play
The course was in good shape. Pace of play was terrible. We were at 3 hours after 9 holes and decided to move on. Didn't find an open hole until #18.
Thank you Andrew3560744 for your review. We are sorry that your round's pace of play was not what we normally have which is 4 hours for 18 holes. We try very hard to maintain that timeframe but at times our patrons aren't able to meet that expectation, and your round was one of those times. We hope to see you again soon and believe you will find that your long round this time was not the norm.
Well Thought Out Design
I had wanted to play this course for 3 years and I’m glad I finally did. The property is beautiful and expansive. Course was more difficult than I first thought it would be as the greens had many subtle breaks that added more putts than it should have. Fairways seemed pretty narrow and next time I will leave driver in the bag more.
The snack bar is conveniently placed so you can turn quickly. Best part of the course was the seemingly brand new carts (which explains the $18 cart fee). I had forgotten my range finder but the GPS on the carts was the most detailed I had ever seen.
