Great layout and nice course to play!
Greens tees and fairways were excellent. Roughs need work as do the sand traps. However I know the superintendent and he is working with a skeleton crew. That being said, excellent course to play.
Staff in the proshop not very friendly.
Grumpy Narrow minded Starter
The starter needs to take a course in people skills.
Best Course in St. Clair County
This course is everything you want in a golf challenge. Pro shop staff is friendly and professional. Carts are electric so they are naturally quiet. This course has to be one of the most peaceful courses in St Clair County. The grounds keepers do a fantastic job in the fairways and greens. The greens are FAST which is easily the best part of this course. The best part of Marysville is as you are finishing either the front or the back 9, you can see the St Clair River in the background.
Group that I got paired with
I got paired with a group which I didn’t mind, but we played 9 holes in 2hr 30 mins. To me that is long for Marysville to play 9 holes. I finally broke off from them on hole 13, I still ended up playing a 4hr 30 min round. Just wished we had a Ranger to help me move the group he paired me with along. I was playing ready golf even tho it was busy they should of been doing the same.
I love this course been playing here for years and will continue playing here.

Everything wrong with modern golf
7 minute tee times with no ranger or marshal to be found the entire 18. Almost six hours to complete the round. Brutal pace of play and if you are less than 4 you’re gonna be playing with randoms. This course represents modern golf: all money hoarding and no regard for the golfer. A course that jam packs tee times but can’t even pay a marshal is a course I will not be returning to. It’s a free for all out there.

For it being early in golf season I thought the course was in pretty good shape, greens were good. They are making renovations on course and looks like it should be fairly nice.

Appears to be in the middle of some course cleanup / redesign. Looks like will be nice when completed and filled in. Always a treat with Freighters passing by in the River.
Good for the money
Greens were in mint condition for time of year. A bit of work going on around #10 pond but doesnt affect the hole. Overall course is in great condition given the time of year. I will be back.

Great Conditions
Can’t complain with the weather this week on the last golf of the season. I definitely recommend going to Marysville Golf Course, great course never disappoints. Greens are great conditions for this point of the season. Fairways are in great shape. Keep it up and love playing this course. Can’t wait for next season.
