Terra Verde Golf Course

This is a great course for the money, the layout is not typical for a public course and the staff is super friendly. There’s a lot of great nature to see on the course as well. I’d highly recommend Terra Verde!

Super nice lady greeted me. Played 18 in 2 hours and would have been faster except for and old man single that wouldn’t let me by. Nice layout. Fun holes. Fun course.

To begin, we waited for 5 groups to tee off from first hole as a line built behind us that had 10 people in it. Waited between 20 and 35 minutes to tee off between every hole. paid for nine holes only golfed five before leaving because it had already been 2 1/2 hours. Was constantly on top of the people in front of us while the people behind us we’re on top of us. We wanted to go golf to have a fun time but ended up having a terrible experience and will not be returning to this course.

The course is starting to dry up so the fairways are becoming like concrete. I hit a 350 yard drive with a 3 wood it’s getting so hard. Greens were like bowling alleys as they were rolling very fast, have to hit approach shot short and let it roll up, don’t go flag hunting. The tee boxes were very hard as well, broke 3 plastic tees. Good news is I played 18 in 2.5 hours.

If this is the only course u can get a tee time at don’t even bother playing just go to a driving range or find something else to do… will never be back!!!

Pace of play was horrible. We were waiting in a line on each hole. The course conditions were awful lots of rocks. Don't go there with your new clubs like I did. We ended up leaving after 9 because it was so bad. I have no intentions of ever returning. If it was cheap, then it would be expected, but there are cheaper courses out there and they are nicer.

Nice layout and smooth greens. Sadly the twosome in front of us wouldn’t let us play through. Waited 3-5 minutes on each tee. And yes the course was open in front of them. But some players can’t be taught

Etiquette

The course could use some improvement especially the tee boxes. It’s hardpan and you have difficulty getting a tee in the ground. The course could use aeration in the tee boxes and fairways. Greens were in pretty good condition. Staff is very friendly.

As a local I have not been a fan of this course for quite some time as the rates for the level of condition and difficulty just isn't there. I signed up for a fundraiser outing here this past weekend, the Course double booked an outing that started at the same time as the fundraiser outing which lead to a 6hour and 30 minute round of golf, the weather was very hot and lead to one of the days of golf of my life.. Seem to be more worried about money than customer experience. Just one more reason not to chose this course in the future.

Great layout. Very similar to a course I grew up playing. Greens are easier due to being a little longer cut. Enjoyed it very much.

set up a tee time for 430 with 18 available. Was told to play front first. First of all the lady at the counter was extremely rude, went with my sister who comes and rides and the counter lady made a smirk and rude remark of there only being 1 playing, then charged us 5, wait updated to 10 for a ride fee. Never opposed to ride fees but $10 for that subpar course? Played the front 9 in an hour.... now the wait begins, behind a women's league(which started on the back at 5.... why didn't we play back first, and why offer 18 at 430 when you have a league? Horrible. Finished up at 830. Course wasn't in great shape, but nothing to complain about. The one bright part was the maintenance man, he was extremely friendly. Spend your money elsewhere!!

I love the lay out the course . They were short staff but they did the best they could. The course was in great shape. I had got pared up with a good guy . Had fun will go back and play again thanks.

Got out 1st group of the day here at 7am. Always amazed that west MI golfers and golf courses start so late. If you are willing to play at 6-7am you will have the courses to yourself. Anyway, course was wet from the rain but no standing water came into play during our 9 holes. Greens were freshly cut but you can tell they were keeping them a little long for some reason. They needed a roll or some time to dry out but very playable just had to mash the first few holes to get it to the hole.

If you've played here you know the lines off the tee which makes things very enjoyable. 3,4,5,6 all require some local knowledge on the tee for direction and distance.

No bunkers on the course and minimal water. Big trees are the biggest hazards so great course for all levels. New bike path is pretty cool right behind 5 tee box. Like this place, glad it's still here for a round in the area very easy to get to off the highway. Go play it, have fun. Bogey golfers will have legit birdie chances if you play smart. That's fun golf!

Course had some holes that made you think, fairways were rough. The greens so so, lots of ball marks that had not been repaired.
