Terra Verde Golf Course

I’ve read the reviews and I believe it’s just a few bad eggs. I would compare this course to Western Greens but better. Greens were great, nice course for my first time playing it! I will definitely be back!

We had an early tee time at 7 am and the lady in the pro shop was very very nice and courteous - greeting us as we walked up, asking if we were the 7:07 duo and we said yes. She pointed to the cart that was already prepped for us and, after paying we were off.

As the second group off, we played quickly, although there were a incredible number of single players with their own tee times so we had to get moving. I am shocked that there were not more of these singles paired up into foursomes or at least twosomes to keep the pace of play more constant and relaxed.

Course itself was in decent shape, although the greens were a bit long, and with the morning dew, very slow.

For $35 with cart, it was a reasonable price for a Saturday morning. I would expect to pay less during the week. And I am sure that the pace of play was significantly more slow as the day wore on.

Nice course to play it's still a little wet in areas. The Greens are a little brown still you can see the color changing in them so they are on their way. I do Believe Myself that they should be switching the price due to those Conditions until the course is in Full Bloom they should Not be charging Full Price.

My biggest complaint is the pace of play was ungodly slow and that other golfers were either super sweet and allowed me to pass as a single, or completely rude. Adhere to golfer etiquette, especially if you suck. Good news, I parred the course. Bad news, the rough was holding its water poorly so it was a bit muddy, and the tee boxes need some work, most of them were soft but a lot of them have seen better days and had weeds growing in them already. Overall, great day to get out.

With his attitude the ranger has no business being on a golf course. Total jerk.

Unbearable pace of play due to heavyyy overbooking on a Tuesday at noon, and this place makes sure you know that the styrofoam cup of ice water is always 75 cents, no exceptions

I played early; this, the slow pace problems of previous golfers were a non-issue for me. Course routing was fine back 9 has better land movement and some unique holes. All bunkers have been filled in, but other than that course conditions were very good. This course serves its price point well.

Layout terrible. Terrible conditions. Way over priced.

My friends and I golfed here for the first time and were hesitant due to the numerous bad reviews on GN. I understand those reviews more after playing.

The course itself is actually quite nice and staff were friendly, however for $45 to play 18, $21 for a 6 pack of beer that is listed as $18, and the worst of them all….$15 for a sleeve of THREE balls…the courses prices are outrageous. While the course is alright like I said, it’s condition and the condition and age of the clubhouse do not warrant the outrageous prices for items on site.

2 stars for course condition, loss of 3 due to pricing.

The front desk lady was accommodating, informative and very nice. However, I got to the first tee box and noticed a group of 6 on 9. After me and wife teed, the rangers who were owners pulled up and asked if both of us were golfing. I said yes, they said well you need two golf bags. My wife uses 3 clubs and they are in my bag. Luckily the front desk lady saw them and brought us “rental” clubs which were from the 70s.

Told the owners they should have information in website about “rules”. They said it’s in the bottom of scorecard which is not on their website. Fact is my wife is a beginner and we always make it known that her clubs are in my bag. This was not Augusta and we’ve never had this problem. These terrible owners waited, and pulled up on us to complain about something ridiculous. We finished the round not using the rentals in 3hrs and 15 minutes.

Oh and the course was absolutely garbage

Pace of play was extremely slow and the ranger was absolutely the rudest guy thinking that we were trying to sneak an extra golfer on even though everybody payed to play. Bugs everywhere and beetles covered the green.

Set up a Father's Day family outing for 4 golfers and had 4 non golfers renting 2 other carts. We were told only two carts/hole but figured that we only had 4 players and 4 spectators, thus basically a regular grouping. We were behind 2 threesomes and were waiting every hole to hit, thus keeping pace. When we hit onto the 6th green the attendant who checked us in came out and bitched at me for having more than 2 carts on one hole even though we were waiting on each shot for the group in front of us to move on. Apparently they did not understand that if we broke down into 2 groups that would have slowed the course down another full tee time. We finished the 6th hole and took our carts back and left. Will not have to worry about us spending any more money there! Sorry, the course use to be fun and flexible. Too bad, so sad!
