Sunset view of 13th green. Hardest, longest hole in the golf course. Green is deep, look where the pin is Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

17th green. Three tiered with two sections guarded by water. You end up on the wrong third of the green and you may have to putt through some fringe or chip over some rough WITH YOUR BALL ON THE GREEN in order to reach the right tier. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Left of the 1st green. Tee shot is 40 to 50 feet downhill and approach shot is slightly uphill again. The entire green slopes from back left to front right. Do not go in the left bunker especially with this pin placement. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 08/25/2019

Greens were very fast
The greens were very fast. Pin placements looked easy but due to speed it was very challenging.
Pretty cool course with an up north feel. Greens are very difficult
Staff are so friendly
It took us 4 hours and 59 minutes to play this course. We had a boys weekend away from Canada to eagle eye and saw this course on a Michigan YouTubers channel. Looked a lot better on the internet then in person. Obviously the eagle eye collection of courses are going to trump a lot of courses you’re going play. But we just found it awful. We talked to the guys infront of us a lot as it was a waiting game all day. They were from the area and said that Devils ridge is always like this. I never like to put up bad reviews but $68 dollars Canadian and a ways off i69. I would find somewhere worse to play.
Nice course but way to over crowded. Had to wait to tee off at every hole. Everything was backed up.
Still one of my Favorites
Had a really enjoyable round at Devil’s Ridge this week. The course was in good condition for early April; no issues with standing water though the front 9 was cart path only.
Worst Golf Experience I Ever Had
Got out of work early on Good Friday to play this course with my buddies and we were very excited. The start was hectic with lots of groups all teeing off around the same time. We got to the third hole and had to wait 15+ minutes on the tee box. The cart girl came by and noticed someone had a drink that was not purchased at the clubhouse (we had still bought drinks from them before our round) she then proceeded to attempt to kick us off the course completely and sent us back up to the clubhouse like we were middle schoolers going to the principals office. Luckily the starter never explained the rules to us so as the guy said it was “our lucky day” and got to continue playing after wasting about 30-45 mins. The ranger then proceeded to follow us around all day checking our cup holders whenever we weren’t in our cart (really weird). Naturally we needed to buy more drinks from the cart girl since we were playing 18 holes and had to make sure we got it from them. But the wonderful cart girl who tried to kick us off refused to sell us anything or even speak to us the rest of the round, we would yell and wave her down to try and get her attention but she just completely ignored us. I have been to this course multiple times and the course itself is nice but I will not be going back because the people there are the absolute worst. If you’re looking to have a nice chill day and play golf I strongly recommend you do it elsewhere, the people here are rude and I have never felt so uncomfortable at a golf course. I have never written a negative review of anything my entire life so that should tell you how bad this was. Please go play somewhere else!! (Boulder Pointe is in same area and a great course with FRIENDLY workers)
Late tee time and confusing layout
We arrived at 945 for a 1015 tee time and was not let on the course for our tee time until 1130 extremely disappointing with my associate having to go to work so he could not finish the course. Course layout was confusing with score card not lining up with the info on the maps. Disappointed in service food stand not open.
Falling apart
This course used to be a go to public course in North Oakland County. Now it’s reserved for casual golfers with poor etiquette only matched by the lack of maintenance and care by ownership. It’s very sad. The tee boxes are destroyed and the greens look like the surface of the moon with how many un-repaired ball divots on each.
When the course was cared for you were almost accepting of the terribly slow start guaranteed by a course design that starts with a very short par 4 followed by a par 3 a very short par 5 and another par 3. No chance of a quick start. Add below average golfers with a poor understanding of playing and courtesy rules and this course has become unplayable. Very sad.
Slow plat
I know that it’s November and we should all be happy to be outside golfing but the pace of play was so bad I quit after 5 holes. The pace I was on would’ve been after the
