Great course condition!
Minus the bunkers, the entire layout was nice! Would definitely go back again!
Hidden gem
Great little course the range finder carts are awesome and you can’t beat a deme dog at the turn!
Owner has an attitude problem
Ive come to this course my whole life and always had a great time up until it changed ownership. Since then I've had the owner be rude to me on multiple occasions and never once was i rude or deserving of this treatment. Today was my final straw and wont be going back. Me and a buddy separately bought tee times thru GolfNow, when we checked in we were both given a cart, never once did we ask for 2 carts. As we pulled up to tee off on hole 1 the owner pulled up to us on his mower, got off and approached us belligerently yelling at us for using 2 carts for 2 people. Saying now i have to gas up 2 carts instead of one and continued to hold us up for 5 more minutes until he got back on his mower, like i said earlier, we never asked for 2 carts. We continued golfing and at the turn dropped off one of the carts and consolidated into 1 because we never intended to cause problems. When we got to hole 13 the owner was mowing in front of us and instead of pulling off to the side, continued to mow for 5 minutes, so we waited for him to clear. He turned towards the tee box and parked his mower 15 feet from us trying to tee off with the mower running and blades turned on intentionally trying to disrupt our play. At that point i was ready to leave and just sped thru the rest of the course. Hopefully someone else buys this course that's not so uptight and ornery because this was once a great place to play a round of golf and have fun.

Nice course. Great value.
Overall a very nice course. The only drawback was hole #11 had clumps of grass all over the fairway I think because of a mower issue. There was some flooding problems also because of recent heavy rains. Something some underground tile could probably take of.. Besides that everything else was in prime condition. Good pace. Never felt rushed.
Family run operation with great value
All in all Deme is one of the better courses for the price in the area. Good course to play a quick 9. Minimal water or bunker play. Bunkers have pretty heavy coarse sand. Good course for beginners as well. Carts have GPS which is a plus. Food is available, beer selection is a bit scarce.
Love this course overall.
Way beyond my expectations.
For a smaller golf course, this place really went beyond my expectations. Course was well kept and beautiful, club house was modest but the staff were incredibly nice. Played on the 4th of July and I don’t think I had any issues with pace . Was pleasantly surprised to see they even had GPS carts. Will definitely be finding myself here more often.
Deme Acres, is 1 of the BEST 18 holes course’s in SE Michigan.
This is my local golf course. I’m not an a great golfer. But, my Son and I have been to Deme Acres many times. We have never had a bad experience, there.

Courses are fairly wide enough so you don't get OB, greens are mostly moderate.
If the opening hours are earlier and longer, i may come back again. All courses are not much difficult.
It's a course that I golf 6-7 times a summer. It's never disappointed.
