Willow Wood Golf Club
About
Located just three miles south of downtown Portland, Willow Wood Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling countryside laced with meandering creeks and ribbons of mature woodlands. The naturally hilly terrain lent itself perfectly to a challenging championship course. Golfers will encounter a range of ups and downs but the golf course is a manageable 6,200 yards from the back tees. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper. The course will test your skills, requiring creative shot making throughout. Each hole requires a different strategy and presents risk-reward opportunities, you're guaranteed to use every club in your bag. One of Willow Wood Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 eighth. It has a sloped green with bunkers on the left, but a birdie might be a possibility if the wind is on your side.

Course is a very good shape.the greens were a bit slower than normal due to the amount of rain recently.always a pleasure to play here
GreatShape
Worked at this course just after HS (2004) and it still looks great! Hadn’t played here in about 15 years. Quinn in the clubhouse was very professional and courteous! Course was in great shape! Greens were soft (personal preference) and were perfect speed! Back 9 was a little slow, but still finished 18 in about 4 and half hours. I had forgotten it can be challenging, but was still a fun round! Great value! Grass tees at the range and nice putting green! Will definitely be back!
Great course
Well kept course challenging all around just a good day ont the green
Fun course
WW is certainly not the most challenging course around as it’s fairly short but there are some really fun risk/reward holes and it is one of my favorite courses anywhere. They upped the prices a little bit (who/what hasn’t?) but it’s still a very good value IMO. If you’ve never played here you should definitely give it a shot.
Great Course!
What a wonderful gem of a course! Everything was excellent. Course was in excellent shape, even the rough was in good condition given the hot weather lately. You need a good GPS, there are a lot hidden shots. Course requires shot placement over booming drives. Greens were fabulous and huge. The pro shop and building were real nice looking, but we didn't utilize the snack bar. Definitely will be back to play!
Great value
Well kept, friendly staff, nice driving range and chiping/putting green . Good price. Couldn't ask for more great deal
Good value course!
We always enjoy this course for a midweek round. It usually is a quick steady pace, this time it was a bit backed up, but people are friendly and let our twosome play through.
I was very pleasantly surprised
When we made a tee time at Willow Woods my expectations were pretty low. The photos on the website were not very impressive.
The course was very nice. In spite of the relatively flat topography in the area, the course had a lot of contour changes in nearly all areas. The condition of the tee boxes, the fairways and the greens was not good, it was spectacular! I have not played a course that was much better since I played the Meadows at Grand Valley. The greens were really fast and were surprisingly contoured..
Willow Woods is truly a hidden gem. Do not miss this one!
