About
Olde Mill Golf Club in Schoolcraft opened in 1958. The traditional layout is the perfect example of classic Midwestern golf. The layout winds along Flowerfield Creek, which comes into play throughout. The front nine has six water holes and there are two more on the back, but water isn't the only challenge you'll run into. The challenging golf course can feel much longer than the 6,180-yard length that's listed on the scorecard. The front nine is more open, but also subject to the wind, and the back nine gets much tighter with most of the holes framed by dense woodlands. There are numerous sand traps strategically placed throughout. In addition to the golf course, Olde Mill also has a driving range and practice green available that are great for warming up.

Headed the right way!
Purchased a 3 year membership 4 years ago and played once due to terrible course conditions. Staff should be commended for restoring the course to well above average conditions.
Nice course for the price
Fun course! Good mix of hole layouts. Fairways and greens in good condition, but some bunkers and tee boxes need a little tlc. Staff a little green, but friendly and accommodating. Appreciated the grounds crew working around the early tee times. Patrons were super chill and having fun. First off the tee in the am and finished 18 in around 3 hours. Give yourself a little extra time getting there - lots of roadwork being done in the area.
Decent for the money.
If your looking for a decent course to play on the cheaper end of golf this is a great course. Pretty slow pace of play as most people on the course are older players not really knowing how to play ready-golf. In a twosome we were able to finish this 6200 yard from the tips course in just under 4 hours. Greens could use some sand and bunkers should at least have a little attention paid to them. Hard compact sand in every bunker looks like it hasn’t been tilled or at least shook up in years. Overall a great course for beginners and average players looking to just get out and play for a reasonable expense.
Love Olde Mill
While there are many courses in Michigan, there ate not too many that offer some challenge, redemption and beauty at the price found at Olde Mill. No, not the most challenging but will give you a chance to shape a shot, 2nd guess your hitting length and realize why you love this game... and hate it at the same time. I highly recommend this course.

Terrible environment
Course is always overbooked. Normal for 9 to take 3 hours here. Always dodging balls because it’s so stacked up. Don’t play anything it off the bunkers either because they’re full of rocks
Great for the price
This is one of the best courses in the area for the money. it was well-maintained. The biggest issue was the teetimes were grouped closely together like maybe 10 minutes way too close. It’s challenging to start out but opens up a bit in the back.

Casual Golf Reviews
A nice small town public course. Nothing fancy but well taken care of. Greens were in great shape, a little slow. Fairways weren’t perfect, a little dry but still playable. Our weather hasn’t cooperated so I’ll cut them some slack here. Clubhouse staff was nice and welcoming. Variety of tee boxes to accommodate all layers of all levels. Some of the hokes were tricky because there would be a slight dogleg lined with large mature tees making the club choice on the tee challenging.

Nice layout
Olde Mill had a nice layout. Some pin locations were questionable but nice greens. Found the course to be pretty forgiving yet still challenging in some spots. Course was pretty dry all around, but every course in the area is right now. Would definitely return.

Keeps you on your toes
The front 9 makes you think about your first approach on the tee box. But then the back 9 are beautiful and you can really can open it up from there
