About
Olde Mill Golf Club in Schoolcraft opened in 1958. The traditional layout is the perfect example of classic Midwestern golf. The layout winds along Flowerfield Creek, which comes into play throughout. The front nine has six water holes and there are two more on the back, but water isn't the only challenge you'll run into. The challenging golf course can feel much longer than the 6,180-yard length that's listed on the scorecard. The front nine is more open, but also subject to the wind, and the back nine gets much tighter with most of the holes framed by dense woodlands. There are numerous sand traps strategically placed throughout. In addition to the golf course, Olde Mill also has a driving range and practice green available that are great for warming up.

Nice layout
Olde Mill had a nice layout. Some pin locations were questionable but nice greens. Found the course to be pretty forgiving yet still challenging in some spots. Course was pretty dry all around, but every course in the area is right now. Would definitely return.

Keeps you on your toes
The front 9 makes you think about your first approach on the tee box. But then the back 9 are beautiful and you can really can open it up from there

Worst pace of place ever. Replayed 5 holes and still could not tee off on our next hole. Couldn’t even play the back 9 since it was even worse so had to replay the front 9.
Challenging off the tee!
It was my first time playing at Olde Mill and I had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Nice Food and Beverage area to get a hot dog and a beer after your round or at the turn. Course conditions were pretty good coming out of the winter. The course put in some new drainage late last year, that is continuing to grow in around the greens.
Some really tough tee shots, which I can only imagine once trees are grown in they will be even higher. It will test your ability to hit golf shots in both directions. Awesome 10th tee shot as well. Recommend checking out Olde Mill if you haven't played it yet!

Course was in decent condition. Pace of play were good. The 10th hole was intimidating hitting over the water hazard

greens need help
the course has a decent layout and challenges. Rough very thick in places and greens have some serious issues and are unplayable in some spots looking for a smooth putt on an even surface not guaranteed barren spots and diseased grass

Bad Conditions
The course is in bad shape. Greens missing grass, tee boxes are dirt, and fairways are like rough grass.

Worst golf course in SW Michigan
$30 to ride 18 and it shows. Very poor course management and even worse grounds keeping. The greens had literal trenches dug through them. I would give zero stars if possible. I will never play Olde Mill again, and I recommend the same for you.

No Good
This place is sub par at best. If I could give less then 1 star I would. The management is horrible. Stacking groups on top of each other, instead of splitting front 9 and back 9. Carts are horrible. Dead birds every where, and deep trenches around greens for irrigation. Literally wait 1/2 hour to 45 mins to golf per hole. And they are less then pleasant with you when you want to discuss the issues. Do not waste your time with this one.

Not bad
It was Memorial Day so the pace of play was extremely slow and it appears they’re putting in a new irrigation system which means good news for the future but for that day it was horrible
