Old school track with very Wide Fairways
Course is over 100 years old! Wide fairways help me make my round much more enjoyable as I forever have trouble staying straight off of the tee! An unbelievable price on golf now - great beer selection from cart girl - will play again!
Great Course!
Well maintained course. The only issue that we have with this course, is that many patrons will not let faster and better players play through. This is my 5th time playing this course this year and each time there are groups that will not let others play through.
Interrupted by scramble league start
Staff pleasant course good Started at 7 no mention of league play later stopped after 13 holes at 9am. A bit rude kind of ending
Terrible Customer Service
I have played here several times and today was my last...
I truly have never left a bad review for a single business. I have always chosen to take the high road. I always try to reason with why customer service may slack on any given day, but for this course... customer service is ALWAYS a nightmare. You get what you pay for I suppose. The course never looks great but honestly, that isn’t my concern.
I really don’t expect anything over the top when in comes to customer service. I just would expect the person answering phones or standing at the counter to not be rude and seem like they some what enjoy there job. The lady who owns / works the front desk is just rude.
Today, on our 11th hole our cart died. Between my fiancé and I, we called 12 times. Not a single answer. We left a message. Finally, after several attempts, we grabbed our belongings and walked up to the club house. I made sure before I opened the door to call as I walked in to know if there phones actually work - they do.
A nice man and women walked around the corner and asked what we needed. I explained what happened and asked that we could get a rain check. He said let me go talk to her. He walks into the club house (that I had JUST walked into with no one to be found and the same club house we called 12 times...). When he walks back out he gave us $10 and said “she won’t do a rain check but here is $10.” It was $40 for the two of us. $20 for each of us, which tells me that it was $10 for the front 9 and $10 for the back 9. Why did we get $10 back? In all honesty, it isn’t about the $10. It just goes back to my point that you should expect your customer service to be absolutely terrible...
Terrible course
I don’t understand all the 4 and 5 star ratings... by far the worst course I’ve ever played. No hole signs, if you don’t hit the fairway you will not find your ball. Putting greens are like putting on gravel. Save your money. Will not be returning
I love Wesburn the course was flooded and they let me play 13 holes it was great . Also when I got home I found the course refund my golf fees so that I could come back and play 18 holes when it drys out. A big thank you to Wesburn golf course just a great bunch of people who run the golf course.
Great local course!
Great local course with good distance Andy layout. Surprisingly much more fun than it looks on course layout. Ball placement is key to enjoy this course.Good pace and friendly staff. Recommended!
Good Golf Course
It is definitely one of the better ones in the Downriver Area, just did not like how there was no hole signs
Amazing
Golf here all the time and was great to get out after the stay at home order. As always was great. Course was in great condition considering. Got out early and finished in 3 hours walking. Don’t have a bad thing to say about Shelly and the crew at Wesburn!
Good historic course
Built in the twenties it retains the country feel. Small but well maintained clubhouse run as a family business. The course presents some hazards such as traps near the greens but generally is easy enough for all levels. Rough faireays and greens were all cut to good lengths.
first time
somewhat challenging as they had some long par 3s … the last 6 holes are across the road and same side of club house … were a little bit more challenging as you had doglegs and water
