Sylvan Glen Municipal Golf Course

This course is enjoyable for the average golfer. It’s not challenging with multiple bunkers or water hazards. A great courses for beginners too.

Price is fair, course layout is fun, the abundance of goose poop is just over the top. Literally only 2 course open the December day I played and was pleased to get a tee time and play. I’d play again on a bonus December warm spell because not playing would be worse but the goose poop is just mind blowing. Regular golf season this would be a deterrent for me to return. I would choose somewhere else.

The course was in excellent shape. Loved the greens and fairways. Friendly staff and the attached restaurant has really good food

Took 5 hours to play we had multiple golfers yell at us for being slow even though there were golfers ahead of us and ahead of them

Sylvan clearly overbooks as backed up by similar Google reviews on same topic on pace of play

A Fun Course

Played an early morning round (7:20am) with the wife.

We finished 18 in less than 4 hours. Without any pressure for groups behind or waiting on groups in front.

Staff was friendly. And the course conditions match the price.

If you can work your tee shot left to right (I can’t) you’re going to have a great opportunity to score.
