Fun Course
A Fun Course
Played an early morning round (7:20am) with the wife.
We finished 18 in less than 4 hours. Without any pressure for groups behind or waiting on groups in front.
Staff was friendly. And the course conditions match the price.
If you can work your tee shot left to right (I can’t) you’re going to have a great opportunity to score.
Pace of play was awful
Went out to play 9 around 4pm. Got through a few holes and then ran in to a back up on the 4th tee box. There was 3 groups waiting on the tee box!! It took us 2.5 hours to play 7 holes. Ridiculous.
Decent course
Decent course, good pace of play. Had a fun round with my wife.
Good course
Par 3s we’re fun and had a challenging obstacles to overcome, overall good fun
Soooooooooo slow! The 4some in front of us were brand new golfers who should have been told by a ranger to play a scramble format. Never once saw a ranger anywhere. Over 5 hours later and we couldn’t even play the 18th hole because we had to leave. Tee boxes are not marked. Great wildlife though!
First time
We had an experienced player who helped immencely with routing, direction to hit off tee, and awareness of hazards ahead that could not e seen from where shot was being taken.
Staff was very friendly, course was packed, with no open slots, so pace was slow. Took 4:45 to play, as front took 2:35, back went quicker in a little over 2 hours. when weather stays good, and groundskeeers can get out it looks like a very pretty layout and surroundings.
American Sportsman
The course was playable for being in February in Michigan.
TeeTimes.com charged for 18 with cart. The course allowed only walking because of damp grounds. Very disappointed. Not sure if I will use this website again.
Nice Course
This was a really nice course and the pricing wasn't bad. However, it had rained heavily the past 2 days. When we booked it said golf carts available and then when we got there they had told us they were pull carts only and we had to walk all 18.
There were a group of gentleman in front of us holding up not only us but 3 teams of golfers behind us. It was extremely frustrating, but not the fault of the golf course.
The little staff we dealt with was very friendly. We had to buy all of our alcohol before and at the turn as there were no cart girls that day.
Overall for a rainy experience it wasn't horrible, I just wish that the "no carts" was updated.
