Less than a mile away from the course and have enjoyed every round I've played there.
Get your sand wedge ready
This is a beautiful, challenging, yet fun course with lots of bunkers and water hazards. Strategy and accuracy are a must.
Admittedly, I was a little unnerved by the sign at hole number 1 that advised golfers they were responsible for any damage to neighboring homes. Seriously? You put an amateur's golf course in your back yard! Deal with it.
Fortunately, my initials aren't on my golf balls and my swing lessons are working. Hopefully, yours are too.
Fun course
This has always been a fun course to play. Wish they could at least put one yardage plate on par 3 tee boxes. Ridiculous that this - or any - course can’t do this. There are a few holes still with condition issues from extensive spring flooding, but not a huge deal. The starter was a crotchety old geezer that was rude for no reason. Outdoor bar at the turn is a great place to hang out after the round and the food is excellent.
Brooks hire Golf Club
Sufficiently challenging for intermediate golfer. Great layout and you had to place your shots. Not very long but really tight fairways.
Fun course
Friendly staff. Speedy greens. Wide and Narrow fairways. Overall the course is in great shape.
Front 9= Great / Back 9= not so much
Good course for the money. The front 9 was great. The back 9 was rough. Looked like there was flood damage on 3 holes with not much of a fairway where there needs to be repairs. I would recommend to play for the price.
Poorly maintained course
We were in a dirty cart with with trash in them.
Seems like they are using contaminated water that reeked with odor. I believe this caused for plethora of mosquito during our round.
It may be just for the occasion we visited, but not the best experience.
