Rental clubs were crap. Hard to follow holes. Signs are not there to direct you or which way to next hole.
Nice full service golf facility.
Well manicured and firm greens that don’t even leave divots on a wet day. Nice full service golf facility. Nice driving range with plenty of targets and yardages. They also have a short game area with a green and targets! Loved it.
Booked a tee time on golf now and when I arrived they said they couldn’t honor a golf now tee time. I had to settle for a time over an hour later and I paid for the gps. The gps did not work and we switched carts twice but the staff couldn’t figure it out. Once I could finally begin my game the pace of play was unacceptably slow and I wasn’t allowed to play through. The greens are very poorly maintained and it was very difficult to putt more than 5 feet without the ball jumping off a dirt patch. My overall rating is 0/10 all the way around
A bit disappointed...
I have golfed here two other times this year. This particular time, I bought 18 holes and a cart, and when I got to the course, they were aerating their greens on the front 9, so I had to play the back 9 twice. There was no communication from Golf Now or Meridian Sun. Due to frost, I could not tee off at my 0804 tee time. This is obviously out of the staffs control as well. The staff gave me some balls to hit at the range until I could tee off, which was nice of them.
The greens on the back looked as though they were just aerated, with big aeration holes in them. Putts did not roll true, and often time bumpy, which affected overall scores.
I usually enjoy playing at this course, but with no communication that half the course was down and the side of be playing on was also just aerated, I was a bit disappointed.
Fair Quality at a fair price
Golf here regularly. It’s not the nicest course, but at their prices I think it’s a decent value. The only consistent issue is their senior membership. They have absolutely no etiquette whatsoever. Playing alone, foursome of seniors in front of me, they never even noticed me behind them. I had to ask to play thru. This happens pretty much every time I’m there. Friendly staff helps!
Staff was friendly, course was in great condition. Some fairway grass on back 9 could use cut a little shorter however I was there in the early AM,, and staff probably had not had the chance to cut those places. Overall excellent experience.
Fun course, good greens.
They do a pretty good job keeping this course in playable shape, not an easy task in the middle of an extended stretch of very hot and very dry weather. Really wish they’d put at least one yardage plate on all par 3 tee boxes. This is a pet peeve I have with every course.
Greens were fast! Being in the rough was rough the few times I was there, ground hard as a rock with not much grass to swing your club through, not a bad little course though!
Meridian Sun Golf July 4th
Staff was very friendly and course was well maintained especially since we have been in a very hot stretch of weather. Will definitely head back and play there again.
Solid all around
Had a great time. Good bang for your buck. Only negatives ive had here is it seems to flood easy and a train passing by a few holes. If you can get past that course is challenging enough to have a great time.
