Pines Golf Course, The

About
The Pines Golf Club sits just a few minutes south of Grand Rapids in Wyoming. The 18-hole layout is routed through stands of mature trees. The terrain is mostly flat, which makes it a great golf course to walk, but there are a few subtle contours throughout that can be tricky. It's a straightforward course that is player friendly enough for even beginners to approach with confidence. There are a few slight doglegs but nothing too formidable. There is only one water hazard that comes into play, but it still manages to add a lot of character. The views spanning across Lake Isabella are almost enough of a reason to play the golf course. The Pines' 15th hole has an especially memorable view of the lake. Another benefit of the golf course is that it provides a more affordable round than other Mt. Pleasant-area courses.

Great Course
Played this course many years ago, and wanted to try it again. I wasn't disappointed! Fairways were in great shape. Many of the greens were aerated, but that was to be expected this time of year. Still really like the course.
Just a nice change
Front 9 very forgiving .. Back nine a little more harder and longer than the front. Great course to hone your
skills on.
this course has good size greens on th par threes
It poor rain after first nine,The course manager rain check us for nine to play later. So we went a ha lunch and came back after the rain strom. I t was great customer service. Some of the holes are very narrow ,while some where very open and forgiving
Enjoyable and reasonably priced
Well maintained, fun course, back nine gets interesting. Great course for an intermediate golfer without overwhelming tough holes. Would play it again.
simple enjoyment
While not a competition course it requires some shot placement. The courses overall condition was good, and it was nice to see them putting money back into the course with upkeep and improvements (new sand in bunkers). Only thing they need is a kitchenette for greater variety of food.
Nice public course
Played 9 after work yesterday, good time. I was behind a league so I couldn't play through, but that is to be expected I suppose.
Pines Perfect for Bogey Golfer
Course is open, straight, and enjoyable. Not for the expert, but perfect for beginner to moderate skill level. My buddy and I were bogey golfers, and it was a great course to improve our games on. Definitely recommend for a good golf outing.
Course is in great shape.
Fun course to play.
It has been raining quite a bit lately, and stormed the night and morning before my round. They weren't letting carts in the course, so I walked.
The manager at the pro shop said "you were supposed to get a call from GolfNow letting you know about the carts." No call or email from GN, so I don't blame the course.
Nice course, a lot of undulations in the fairways, greens were in great shape. I'll definitely golf here again.
best shape I ever seen there
outstanding condition this year,.best shape of courses I have played this year and I have played every week since end of april,.all different courses,.
The course is in great shape.
The course is always well manicured and the staff is very friendly.
Great Day at the Coarse
Great Price Everything was Perrrfect Played easy and good training coarse
Lots of fun
Excellent condition. The only thing that I did not like was the greens were a little slow.
Good course
Some challenging holes. Course was in excellent condition. Play was fast and smooth. Love this course.
Good experience
Course it good/great shape good experience. Wasn't too bussy was t waiting long on holes. Had a good round so that helped. Great round of golf on mothers day
Nice little course
Great course for your average golfer. Not super long, only used my driver twice so nice if you golf with a shorter player like my fiancé. Grass was green and greens were well maintained. Not a lot of hazards so don't need to worry about losing your Pro V 1s. :)
Pines
easy to score low, but a small course. Good chance to get practice in. Not a lot of par 5s...will benefit your iron game and give it some great practice.
Great shape for early in the year
Great deal, great staff. Will play this course again when in Grand Rapids. Front is pretty easy only to lease off with 3 tough holes on the back. Overall nice course.
Laid back nice course
Booked this on golfnow then arrived to the course to find out that they were redoing greens on the front 9 so we had to play the back nine twice. Turned out to be fun. We were visiting from out of town and looking for a nice local experience. Fairways were lush and in great shape. Greens had just been aerated and filled with sand ... So they were a little bumpier than I prefer.
But for the price, it was great! Beautiful on a nice fall afternoon.
