Challenging course
First time playing. Average golfer with some physical limitations. I played the front tees and the course still played long for me. There also was a lot of elevation change and several blind shots on the course, making it even more difficult. I LIKED the course, just a bit more challenging than I can handle.
Fun Course!
The course was in great shape and very unique however the course was very blind and every shot felt like it was taken on some slope. This course could really benefit from GPS. Every par 3 felt like the same short distance.
It’s name is properly suited
Fun coarse if you’re hitting it well but there’s plenty of trouble if not. Fun layout with lots of great sight lines when on the highest points of the course. I was actually surprised with the conditions with how dry it has been around here. Well done Gopher Hills.

Good Value
Pace of play was poor as there were some fivesomes ahead of us and no ranger on duty monitoring pace of play. This was unusual as one of the reasons we golf at Gopher Hills is the good pace of play.
