Bluff Creek Golf Course

We should have been warned of course construction projects. Surprised that a discount wasn't implemented given the extent of renovations.

made it for Thursday and we were there Tuesday. My mistake.

My only disappointment was I forgot to ask about a senior rate. GolfNow showed a much lower rate when I booked, otherwise fine.

First time playing and absolutely wasn't disappointed as I am already anticipating my next round!!

Loved the following:

Staff attentiveness and friendliness was a 10! Especially the starter who was perhaps the most welcoming starter I’ve experienced this year.

Layout is great and very challenging.

Pace of play was very good.

However, this was nowhere near a $100 price tag of a course. WAY OVERPRICED.

I realize it’s summer in Minnesota but the tee boxes were in terrible shape. And it definitely was not worth the money.

Well maintained track. Although the holes are sometimes a bit tight, it doesn’t seem to be crowded. No homes to interfere with one’s view. Lots of mature trees hide the holes from each other.

A few of the greens are silly, or they are not properly built up.

Course is in nice shape. Made it through the winter better than most for sure. My critique is that the rangers need to push the slow groups more. Group in front of us, dropping mulligans repeatedly, standing around on the green talking/pointing/counting shots. Stuff like that is just rude.

Just a good public course. The Rangers kept pacer play moving. Not super difficult. Very enjoyable.

First time playing Bluff Creek. We got paired up with Ben & Joe, who have been playing Bluff Creek for many years. They were really a lot of help navigating the course. I really liked the course and was in great condition.

Played 9 holes with my wife and we enjoyed it. Jody in the pro shop was very helpful and the starter was also. First time to play but it’s pretty easy to figure out. Fairways and greens in good shape. Tee boxes decent but not always level. Over all worth the money. We will be back.

Pretty decent golf course, a couple quirky holes but in nice shape, an over all good value and worth playing. Super great staff always friendly and happy demeanors.
