Hidden Gem
We enjoyed our first time playing this hidden gem. Pace of play was good and we were allowed to play through anyway. Conditions were very good, especially the greens. We will definitely be back!
Enjoyed the round!
Had a great time golfing this course. Not a difficult course but fun layout that allows you to always be able to easily find your ball. Will play here again in the near future.
Good shape for late in the year
Would be a good course for just about everyone. Really long hitters may not find it challenging enough. Greens we’re true and fast !!!
Great little hidden gem of a golf course
I truly enjoy this course. I'm going to make this my go to course
Marginal
On top of inconsistent greens, torn up tee boxes, and unpleasant landscaping, we got to listen to chain-saws and loud tractors doing a removal project on what should have been a much more pleasant Sunday prime time golf day.
Will play there again
First time vistor. The course was in excellent condition the surprise me with some of length of the par 4& 5 holes. Definitely telling people about thoa hidden jewel
Good course
We golfed on a day that was about 45 degrees when we went out in the morning. It was great to have the course almost all to ourselves. We were not rushed all day and really were not worried about hitting anyone since both myself and the person I played with are a lower skill level. The layout of the course is a bit confusing and I did not like the lack of signage to point in the correct direction to the next hole. There was also a lack of layout picture on the tee box. We had to use the scorecard every time to see where we should be hitting. I enjoyed playing this course, but I will be in no rush to play it again soon.
Little To Zero Variety
I'll start by saying, this course appears to be meticulously taken care of. I saw almost no dead grass anywhere. Very green and well maintained.
However, there is an issue. Each subsequent hole looks almost identical to the last. Disregarding the length of the holes, each one is basically a straight fairway connecting the teebox to the green, with almost no altitude change or natural hazards to speak of. There are a couple of doglegs and a little bit of water on a couple holes, but other than that, really nothing differentiating the majority. Whoever wrote the course description using the word "exciting" is guilty of gross misrepresentation.
Unfortunately....the greatest sin here isn't the lack of variety. It's the greens. Designed as if to make up for the lack of difficulty leading up to them, they have unforgiving slopes and almost all of them are built on top of a mound, meaning that rolling a ball onto the green is unlikely. A couple are built like domes, with high points in the middle, ready to roll even slow moving balls off the edge in very frustrating manners. Hole 12 has about a third of the green on the fairway facing side that is basically nothing more than a funnel into the sandtrap surrounding the green. Nothing is stopping on this and you probably wouldn't realize it from a distance
For what this course is....it is fine. But it is very unsatisfying to have most of your strokes coming from right around, or on the green. There are far more interesting courses for the amount charged here.
NIce country club
This is a nice course, pretty much your standard old country club style course. Not real hard, fairly narrow, not much elevation changes or water, etc. Course was in nice shape for how early in the season we played.
