Reviews
Convenient layout
The facilities here are laid out well. From parking to the club house to the pro shop to the practice green and range and first tee boxes. Everything seemed fairly close but not crowded. The greens were in excellent shape especially for the end of October. They rolled true and smooth and would hold a good approach shot. There are many trees between the fairways which had dropped lots of leaves. You could tell they were trying to mulch the leaves down, but it was still hard to find balls. Overall, I enjoyed the course and appreciate the work put into it
The cost and the staff makes it always worthwhile. They do a very good job of maintaining it and always enjoy playing it.
Lots of Fun
Course was an excellent shape challenging for a first time player totally worth the drive not too far out of the cities it was really fun
Muni Feel To A Semi-Private GC
A decent golf course that has two obviously different nines. The front nine was the original golf course before Joel Goldstrand designed the back nine. Goldstrand designs, while usually benign are visually appealing. This course overall, has more of a parkland feel with a touch of boredom... but in a good way!! The staff? I've read some crazy stories about them but I've never experienced anything but a courteous pro shop. Nice little, all-grass driving range with a small chipping green and practice bunker (that needs attention and new sand!) too. All in all, a nice, well maintained little track.
Only able to play 9 holes d/t rain. Front 9 are challenging but fair. Greens moderately fast. Staff very friendly and helpful, no problem getting rain check for 9 holes.
MonticelloCC
This was our first time there on a windy, cool and wet day. Despite those conditions, the course was a noce challenge and we enjoyed it. We will be back.
Great course
Great course for its cost, greens are very nice and roll purely. Getting this good of a course for under 40$ is one of the best values in the area. Good experience
