Elk River Country Club

I enjoyed the course even though I didn’t play well. Greens were small and elevated. Almost hit into the group in front of us a couple of times due to blind shots into the green and rolling hills within the fairways. Fairways were bumpy especially when exiting the cart path. Course conditions were better than some more expensive courses in the area so you could tell the course is being kept up with sprinklers and fertilizer. Well done superintendent! Played from the blue tees and this location gave us plenty of challenge. I wish the carts had GPS which is nice if you are playing the courses for the first time even though I brought my handheld GPS or you can use an app on your phone. I will definitely be back again due to the course conditions being better than most with the lack of rain we have had this summer. The course is walkable as the tee to green distance is very manageable to walk the course.

Played this golf course for the first time. Overall, it was average. Disappointed in the size and shape of of the greens. Too many of them were elevated and golf ball would consistently roll off. Also, too many blind tee shots and the fairways were extremely bumpy. Was this course built on a bog? The cart paths need improvement and the club should consider electric carts with GPS. My Garmin didn’t synchronize with the front or back nines. It may have been my Garmin and not the club’s fault. We go the tee time on TeeOff.com at a very good rate. I would not have paid full price to play the course.

Course was spongy and very bumpy poor directions took 3 tries to find the 7th hole. It was so uneven and rough in the fairways I hurt my back so bad I could not finish the round. For what they charge they should be able to fix the uneven ground and smooth out the fairways

I really liked this course, the green complexes are very challenging and require some creativity and thought. I had a great time.

Fun Golf Course. Shorter par 4s, with sloping smaller greens. Pre-order lunch on the app. Chicken wrap and tacos were great.

Every time I work in this area I feel the need to play this course. I have met some great ppl and have shown them how bad we cajuns are at golf over a few drinks.

Overall good shape. Rough cart paths. Very slow pace of play. Friendly staff. Probably wont go back anytime soon due to the pace of play.

Greens here are not friendly. However, he course is very well maintained. A few par 3’s , not a ton of water (relatively easy to avoid if you choose a smart shot). Overall a great course, found a hot deal for 50$ (18 holes + cart) so very happy with the value.
