First round with Three year old Grandson
We began at 9:45 and there was a delay at every hole. The course was in good shape but the greens were extremely slow. In need of a mow. Had great one on one time with Grandson. Perfect place for his first outing!
Best 9 Hole Course in Minneapolis
I loved this course so much that I checked to see what the membership rate was!

Tee boxes
Tee boxes were not marked on some holes, I assumed they mowed and didnt move them back.
Enjoyable
Fun course layout if you aren’t good like me, but the greens are pretty beat up. Still very much so enjoy the course

Greens need maintenance
Really good course. There is some patches on a couple greens that are more yellow than green. Other than that, love the course.
So slow
I appreciate the fact that this course is laid back. It is good for my skill level (low). But 2 hours and 45 min. for 9 holes is unacceptable

With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. Good experience
I was in town for Labor Day weekend and tried this place out on Friday (daytime) before the holiday. The course was in very good condition! The driving range is nice (hit off the grass). Pace of play was not an issue at all. Would definitely play again when I am in town.
Beautiful View, Best Shape
Course was in very good shape - the best shape of any course I’ve played at this year in the Twin Cities. Most courses are still very wet and some even have temporary holes since the greens are too wet to play on. Lost Spur was pretty dry, there were a few wet areas but not many. In a few places it appeared that motorized carts had done some damage to the fairways. But, in total, the course was in good shape. The course is situated in a higher area providing beautiful views of the river below. Another reason why the course isn’t too wet - water can drain off the course to the river area. The course isn’t long but has challenging and interesting holes. I especially enjoyed the elevated tee holes!
Great bang for your bucj
Course wasn’t “fantastic” but was exactly what I was looking for—great value! Had a nice Friday night golfing there after work. Wasn’t super busy and the other (slower) golfers let our group thru a few times.
