Timber Creek Golf Course

I feel like Timbercreek is the best golf value in the area. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcomed.

I've golfed Timber Creek on and off for about 5 years, and I've never seen it in as good of shape as it's in right now. The greens were smooth, soft fairways that reward a good shot, and they're moving in high-quality bunker sand like what you find at Chaska Town Course and The Ridges. I usually only golf Timber Creek once a year, but now that I see they're truly making an effort to improve the course, I'll be there much more frequently.

As far as I know over 2 years. Course is challanging but I want to play at clean course, not under construction like course.

They continue to make improvements. Fun course for the price. Several unique holes.

Great pace of play! I appreciate a round under four hours.

Unfortunate that we played after three days of rain,so the course was quite waterlogged.They also are making some course changes so the course is somewhat torn up.The best part of this course is the management. Always friendly,helpful and accommodating. Not the best or most challenging layout but I like the people.

This place has come a long way. Brooks and his crew are busting their butts every day to bring this course up to snuff. But it is a good track run by good people. They bought a course in disrepair and are trying their level best to clean it up. Are there some things that need work?? You bet. Some tee boxes and some bunkers need attention. But the effort is there. They are working all the time. Give them some time and this place will shine!

Many tee boxes were very uneven with little grass.
Some sand traps were in very poor condition, washed out with a lot of grass/weeds growing within.

Course was in ok condition. A couple of the tee-boxes were in poor condition but it looked like they were a work in progress and should be better next spring.

Holes are too close together for me. The course was very busy. It seemed dangerous, as you were proceeding on cart paths that were taking you in line with potential tee shots from another tee box. Routing is not the easiest to follow, but the signage was very helpful getting you to the next tee box. There were a lot of people there and they seemed to be enjoying themselves, but just not my kind of course.

Play here a few times a year, and had been decent value and conditions, but things have gone way down hill. Greens were spotty, dead spots throughout fairways, t-boxes were essentially first cut rough. Rough was inconsistent, filled with weeds, and had dead patches, which were rock hard and actually filled with rocks. Many of the bunkers had hardened clay and weeds throughout. Some of the streams were filled with a green muck and one had 100's of dead fish floating on top. Also, on four holes, almost got hit by errant shots from other fairways and t-boxes, and on one hole, the group playing in back of us hit into us on the green, and they were literally 150 out. Not necessarily the courses fault,. but it is attracting this type of golfer. Trying to line up a shot while worrying about getting hit is not great for ones concentration.
Try not to be too critical, given the greens fees were under $50, but for $10-$20 more one could play a nice course. Hope things improve, as I like the layout and the speed of play.

Blind shot first hole on a reachable par 5, recipe for someone getting hit in the head, backs up play on 2nd too, a long par 3, otherwise a decent layout. Tee boxes rough, greens average, bumpy, want challenging, play the blues for a more challenging course.,.

Price was great. Play was a little slow. To be expected I suppose. Overall a good place to play if you're looking for a good deal. I will play there again!

For the cost this course is reasonable, but could have been much better if it was maintained. Simple things like raking the sand traps occasionally, re-seeding the tee boxes, and taking away branches throughout the course would clean up the course

Been playing here since 2010. I used to enjoy playing here. The price has gone up every year while the quality of the course has gone down. We played in may this year and it took well over 5 hours to complete. No starter, no marshall, no beer cart. Bunkers are freaking ridiculous, not maintained at all. Tee boxes are horrible. I have played my last round here.

My 13 yr old son and his friend went to Timber Creek to play 18 holes. They are both golfers who have been golfing leagues and doing lessons for over 5 years. They had a reserved tee time but when they checked in they were told they couldn't hold because the course was busy and they were walking. This is not a course that requires carts. I called and talked to another person who told me they would get them out on the course, but not for the junior rate. I said fine. However, again the woman berated them and made them feel completely unwelcome, and a pain for her to have to deal with. She repeatedly told them they had to let everyone play through that they saw. And if they were too slow they would be asked to leave. This is prior to them hitting a ball--so she had no idea their level of play. I'm sure if two adults had checked in--even if they had never golfed before--they would never have been treated this way. As for the course--it's an average course that caters to the budget golfer. Many blind greens make the course difficult until you've played it a few times. We won't be going back because I believe too many golf courses have this attitude towards juniors and without building a new generation of golfers, we will lose the courses, the community and the funding that makes the sport so great.

I had a great time playing Timbercreek. The greens were almost perfect, awesome layout and I will be to pay it again.

Very crowded, but play moved along well. Not a great course but the price is right, especially with a junior golfer. There area few holes where LOTS of holes seem to "meet up". Gets a little tight with all the people running around during that stretch. I think it's right around hole 17...
