Rough
Staff didn’t mention only nine holes were open until after the fees were payed. If I would have known I would have only played and paid for 9. Only nine holes were open and the playable holes were all over the place with no order. Course was in rough shape.
Arnold Course
Unfortunately, I did not realize that most of the course was flooded. Only 3 holes were open and the other 2 were really short par3's. Staff was friendly, but should have been noted on Golf Now that the course was flooded.
Go give Mystic Oaks GC in Waterloo, Ill. a try.. You'll love their greens ! Interesting course, friendly staff, great pace of play - Tell them DGB sent you - 9-28-19
Wet windy day
I had played here once before, I think it's a fine coarse, for $10 for 18 holes you can't beat it, we had been in the middle of a rainstorm so the course was very sloppy, but that's to be expected. Also very windy. We had a good day. The staff was friendly.
No show for our tee time
Tee time was set at 0718, pro shop was closed and no one was there. Wasted 30 minutes waiting on staff that never opened the course. We left disappointed
Give Mystic Oaks in Waterloo, illinois a try - Great staff - Fantastic Greens ! - Reasonably priced - Tell them DGB sent you 9-28-19 DGB
Very enjoyable to play
Pomme Creek is a great alternative to crowded public golf courses in metro St. Louis. It is a beautiful course very convenient to St. Louis and Southwestern Illinois. The green fees are lower than those at many other municipal golf courses.
Great course for the money.
I have golfed here about 3 times now and have had a great experience each time. Strangely enough the price is a little different whether you live in Arnold, St. Louis, Overland or whatever but the price is right for 18 holes with a golf cart. It has a high range of holes from easy to difficult. Challenging and fun.
Drive across JB Bridge to Waterloo, Illinois. Play at Mystic Oaks GC Greens are in great shape, Pace of play is excellent and the pricing is very fair. I think you'll have a great experience. Food from Mr. BBQ is very, very good too. 9-28-19 DGB
