Sugar Creek Golf Course
About
Sugar Creek Golf Course offers some of the best scenery of any course in the St. Louis area. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the course's elevated tees. The course opened in 1990 with several improvements made in the following years. The layout is a manageable length at just under 6,100 yards. It is player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence but there are also challenges in store for more advanced players. Water only comes into play on one hole but there are stands of trees lining the narrow fairways. The golf course will generously reward accuracy and good strategy though it is not overly punishing if you are slightly errant. In addition to the course, Sugar Creek G.C. also boasts an expansive practice range with 35 hitting stations.

Sugar creek golf course
Great course, grass and good views. Definitely would recommend to other golfers
Value
$45 to play 18 with cart is a steal compared to the course rates in the area. Very well maintained fairways make it much better quality than similar priced courses and it’s a fun course with scenic views and elevation changes to add some unique challenge.
Best course for the price in the area
Fairways are fantastic, especially at the price. I just hope the course doesn’t price itself out of my price range haha
Wonderful Course
Beautiful Setting! Every Staff Member Very Friendly! Hidden Gem! You Have To Get Out And Play Here! Best Course In Bistate Area! 5 STARS!

Could not ask for better golf conditions. Greens rolled great, Fairways were lush and green. Fantastic course
Course is in beautiful shape!
Tee boxes, fairways, greens all are in top notch shape! Wonderfully kept and always great place to play!
Course is great
Course is in good condition. Pace of play is good and driving range is great.
Hidden Gem!!!
Players appreciate the scenic, rolling layout featuring elevated tee shots and narrow fairways. The greens, fairways, and tee boxes have gone under some major transformation in the last few years to make it one of the best "hidden gems" in the STL. area. Sugar Creek also is widely praised for its affordability for everyone at every level.
The course views were amazing
I really liked everything about this course. The views were stunning the course was in great shape. A plus in m my opinion. Will be back soon.
Overall quite good
We played the front 9 and it was a little soggy in places, but overall the course was in good shape. There were a few spots on the greens that could use attention, and the typical ball marks that people hadn't repaired, which these days seems to be typical and not the fault of the course.
Young children should not play on the weekends
I grabbed an afternoon tee time on Mother’s Day for two of us. We got there early and were ready before our designated tee time. At hole 1 the Marshall (Ron, who is amazing) told us that a few groups ahead of us included young children (under 10 years old). They were told to allow the quicker groups to play through. That didn’t happen. The group ahead of us was held up at every hole, which then held us up. It was frustrating.
